Looks solid and functions well. I am using this in Spain currently without any issue. The product feels solid and well-built. It even looks nice with the glossy case. I wanted to use it to power my portable Waterpik dental floss (14 watts) when I travel, instead of having to buy a European-compatible model. The best thing about this converter is that it accepts a wide input voltage. Therefore with the right adapter I can plug it in and test it out in the US to make sure it works for me. By buying a converter, I will have more flexibility in using 'the proper' US-voltage products when I travel. One must not use products that the converter cannot support, as listed in the converter's document. If you buy this converter just to charge up your cell phones and computers, you should check the print on your chargers first. Most of them already accept a wide input voltage (100V-240V), therefore with the right adapter, they would work just fine overseas, without the need for a converter. Time will tell how long the converter will last with the harsh handling environment while traveling. I expect with the right care in packing and usage, it should last a long time.
Not "cheap" but super functional. While it's not "cheap," this power converter is super functional. First, it has the UK, US, and Asia plugs you need to convert a plug for use. For most of us, today's electronics will "eat" any kind of electricity; you just need the right plug to convert that country's wall outlet to the one you use. So if you just need a plug, this set-up has them and that will be all you need to take. For EU plugs, you will need the power converter. Since it has two plugs and 4 USB ports, I actually am planning to use this as an extension cord. Most tourist hotels still don't have that many plugs so this set-up fits the bill to be able to charge/use multiple devices. It also comes with a handy carry bag to put all the parts in. It is a bit bulky and heavy due to the converter piece, but that's the price of having a converter vice a plastic converter plug. Overall, I think it's a great value.

Does not work if flat iron has auto shutoff mechanism. Specifically bought this to use my flat iron, which description says it does. The catch is most flat irons have auto shutoff and voltage protection. I was able to use my flat iron if I used it immediately after plugging in and used only 2 or 3 minutes. Smelled plastic burning.
It work for living in Thailand really good. But a year later it blew up and kicked out the breaker at the box.. There are no inverters here in Thailand . So I just ordered 3 more and having them sent to me.
It works but .... Used it in UK. But with the way they designed the plug, you have to pull the plug out of the socket slightly. Otherwise there's a dead spot on the plug.

While i thought it worked very well, I was chronically concerned about safety at our various lodgings.
