Pros

good working little walkie talkies. i actually bought these to use for an upcoming camping trip but i got to use them earlier than expected and they were great! we had a COVID outbreak where i worked and we needed a way for those working in the COVID area to keep in touch with use especially if they needed something without leaving their area, constantly calling on a desk phone in a stationed area, and keep them updated about the outside from where they worked. i used these walkie talkies and the area we talked was around 600 feet and with multiple doors closed in the area....and they worked just fine communicating with other staff in another part of the building and even in our facility parking lot.

Great for a cruise. My husband and I ordered these so we could communicate without cell phones during our first cruise. They got the job done! Occasionally I would accidentally hit a button and end up on a different channel, and it seemed a lot more complicated to get back to the correct channel than I would have assumed…it’s not exactly intuitive. But it got the job done and they are now our vacation communication tools!

Great for moving. We had two vehicles moving to another state and this came in handy communicating back and forth. The sound was clear

Wish it had longer range. The range is ok for the most part while we camp but driving when we’re one or two car lengths it loses signal

Good buy. I can't hear while in the stores so my husband got us these and I wear my on the plastic hoop thing it comes with around my neck..perfect for clear sound and loudness is good too

Simple to use. A guard around the PTT button would cut down on the many accidental alerts. Very annoying.

Cons

Doesn't say USED. I was under the impression these were brand new walkie talkies. No where in the description did I notice "used" . They seem to work fine but believe I was sold "new" walkie but they're definitely used. Batteries were even installed already. 3 different brands in 1 walkie mind you.

Let’s be real. So I got this walkie talkie to talk to my best friend who lives about 4.3 miles away from me. The description said it was 1/4/16 so I wasn’t sure if it was going to work but I wanted to try it anyways. It didn’t even go a full mile. The most was about 0.7 miles. I live in a suburban area so I understand it not reaching far but not even a mile?! Like come on. If u are looking for a walkie talkie for around the house, it great, but for something long distance you are probably going to have to invest a bit more money.

Programming is tough, volume is terrible. Positives: I am in a city and worked well up to exactly a half mile away and then it got static mixed with voice. Good on battery. Negatives: Competition at this price point has weather band and better volume control. Also competition is waterproof. If you use headphones the volume is always stuck on loudest setting. The beeps never seem to change volume. It is tough to go through the menu to do anything like volume and setting channels. It is ok but just isn't very user friendly. I may return this but haven't decided.

Would not recommend for cruise ships. We bought these walkie talkies for our Alaska cruise based on the price and good reviews. We tried them out at home they seemed to work fine. Battery life is good. However, once on board the cruise ship they were pretty much worthless. There was a constant beep and lout static no matter what channel we tried. My guess is that there was too much interference on the ship. After much frustration, we finally gave up and turned them off for the remainder of the cruise.

They work but prepare to buy TONS of batteries. They're walkie talkies and does what they're supposed to, but be prepared to go through a LOT of batteries. The battery life on these things is awful. If I still had the packaging, I would return them, but unfortunately we didn't realize how bad the battery life was until we'd had them for a few weeks and started using them regularly. You're honestly better off buying one that comes with a charge. This one does not and I can't find any info on what battery pack and charger would work with these.

Cheap but works. Pros - sound quality is quite well, has plug for headset Cons- belt clip space not enough to clip over belt easily, also will likely snap off - the talk button is super sensitive, slightly brush or press and it broadcasts
