Pros
Great for dogs. I bought this for my little dogs to play in. A regular sprinkler is far too big, but this is the perfect size for pets or little kids. It's made of a very sturdy, durable plastic that holds up well under excited paws with rough claws. The outer ring has evenly spaced holes in which the water sprays out. It has a good surface area, but it rolls up for easy storage. Since it lays flat, it doesn't take up much room.
My dogs love it!!! The media could not be loaded. It is durable. I ordered the non-slip bottom. You can regulate the sprayers height by adjusting the water flow.
STAY COOOOOOL. This was purchased instead of a pool this year since we have one under 2 and living in the Arizona desert some sort of water play is needed. I know this was designed for dogs but it’s stronger, cheaper and sturdier than the kids ones. Our oh so lovely show dog (Pomeranian) chewed a bit out of it (on the first day) but a quick patch and it was as good as new! Now she just loves running through the water. The water jets are easily adjustable from 0 to about 4 feet high, so lots of fun for big and little kids and it doesn’t need chemicals or use a lot of water so it’s a win from my kids and dogs.
Cons
NOT for dogs! Advertised for dogs because it has a sturdy surface. Bottom is sturdy but top is very thin plastic which lasted about 10 minutes. Definitely not suitable for dogs!! This is my first negative review on Amazon.
Really fun and good but unfortunate. This is so much fun and a great idea but I think I will be returning this one only because it’s sprays outwards away from the pad unlike the picture shown. I turned the hose down and then all the way up and the water streams never aimed in which is what I wanted. My dog still loved it and had a blast but the stream outward defeats the purpose to me.
Not impressed with the fabric its made of. It was an exhilarating 5 minutes for my border collie. Definitly would be better for a small kid. It worked well. It was super easy to set up. It just was not durable at all. If it were made from a more durable fabric it would be perfect for medium to large dogs. But my girl likes to snap at the water. In doing so poked holes really easy.
