Wonderful addition to our play space. My daughter absolutely loves this! Even tho I purchased it onsale I would pay full price for this item if I had to! Very sturdy! Very easy to put together! One of the best purchases we have made on playroom furniture! And all the little details like the scanner and credit card signature pad just make it all that more fun for her!
My kids love it. Very easy to assemble. It took two adults maybe 1 1/2 hours to get it ready. Easy instructions to follow

Broken door. We love this!!! My girls are obsessed, it’s super cute. But the door was broken so we were not able to put the door on. I’m hoping this company will send us a new door.
Stuck with damaged/defective accessories. Some of the wooden accessories are damaged/defective. Unfortunately I didn’t realize this until after assembly. The Melissa and Doug’s website advises to contact the “retail partner” (Amazon). However Amazon advises to contact the manufacturer or return product. Needless to say I am very disappointed considering how much I paid for this product. This item was purchased for use in a home daycare. As a side note, I also purchased a KidKraft farmhouse kitchen set from Amazon that arrived with a damaged part. KidKraft has a OUTSTANDING replacement part process. I submitted my request on their website on 12/4 and received an order confirmation. I received an email on 12/9 advising the replacement part had been shipped via FedEx. Now that’s how you do business. ***JUST DISCOVERED ANOTHER ISSUE: the faces of the presidents are printed on the front and back of all of the bills.
The scanner doesn’t work, and it is impossible to communicate with the seller. Item Defective: The cashier part of this item is not working. I would like a replacement since my kids really love this, but their fun is ruined without the scanner and the sign in cleaner doesnt work. Please help me replace just what doesn’t work it didn’t work since day one because I love the product. Otherwise I would have to return it.
Arrived damaged in several places. For a high quality children's toy, this arrived damaged in several places. We had to put it together anyway because it was the child's Christmas present. Please advise what you can do to remedy this.
Cheaply made. For the price, very cheap made. Wood kept splitting/breaking off. Which in turn caused it to not be sturdy on one end. Very disappointed especially for the price.
defective parts happen. The conveyor belt CRANK that is responsible for turning the conveyor belt was warped. My granddaughter was very disappointed. Hopefully Amazon will send replacement part.
