I love it and the dog hates it! Bought this because my lab won't stay out of the trash and won't stay in the yard. She also keeps jumping on everyone. Tried everything to make her stop but she doesn't. So I bought this. The beep she just clocks her head. The vibration works for the trash. She's extremely stubborn so it the shock for the yard and jumping. Had to turn it way down. Came set at 22 for the shock and the first time I hit that she jumped 4 ft and yelped. So I turned it down a couple more times now and found a good setting at 8. Did have to turn the vibration up from the 2 it came set at that. I like that if you accidentally hit the button nothing happens. You have to hold the buttons down for a few seconds to make them work. That is a great safety feature that prevents accidentally punishing or warning your dog for no reason! I'm loving this collar and the dog is hating it.
Great training collar. The beep or vibration mode is all you will need. I bought this to train our Great Dane to stop jumping on everyone that walked through the door and to stop biting all the time. It has definitely done the trick. No shocking has been needed at all. One click of the beep and she stops doing what she knows she's not supposed to be doing. This is an excellent training collar!! Definitely recommend!! Battery lasts a long while and it's easy to use!!
No means No. It only takes the sound alert for our boy to understand he cannot eat his own poop in the backyard. A few shocks on Level 3 and he understood what no means.
Super simple to use and super effective. I have 5 GSD, and have had dogs my entire life. An electronic collar like this has three functions built in, first is an audible beep, which is nice for locating the dog as well as letting the dog know to come (or recall depending on the commands you use). The second function is a vibration, which like the noise, is an adjustable setting. Use of the vibration setting and noise settings are almost always enough to stimulate the pup enough to return. Remember to call your dog the same way each time, especially in the beginning of their training. Call the dog, and if there is no reaction, use sound. If that doesn’t work, use the vibration mode. Lastly is the “shock” function. I only use this if everything else has failed, or if there is an immediate need (emergency) to recall the dog. Examples would be the dog running towards the street, or possibly getting ready to attack someone (unintended good guy victim). Battery power has not been an issue over the couple months I’ve had this. I have purchased three of these total. Not because they have broken, but because they are inexpensive and work super well. Just make sure you label each collar and transmitter so you are working it with the right dog.
Amazing if You're Not Stupid. It's awesome! Battery life is amazing! It has helped me train my yellow lab who has a mind of her own. With that said, I was stupid. This product comes with rubber nipples for the contacts so that they don't have direct contact with the dog's skin. First time I juiced her, she yelped in pain... I was a new dog mom and for whatever reason, I thought that the rubber nipples were for storage purposes. Aka: stupid... They are to conduct the shock so as to give them a jolt that is uncomfortable vs. harmful... If your dog has sores on his/her neck, it's because the rubber nipples were not on the contacts... Lesson learned.
Calms your hard to train dog. This is a very nice collar. It is built to last and easy to use, but most importantly, it works great for training. Our dog was not listening to us when we called him to come to us. He would even leave our yard. Now, after training him with the "beep" function and treats, he comes to us every time, and knows his perimeter. He was also jumping up on people, and with the "vibration" function, we are able to control that now. I would recommend this collar to anyone who has a dog that will not listen to commands.
Cons
My 2nd one. The first one I bought at the beginning of the year. The display quit. I bought this just for the familiarity. On the first charge it kept blinking on and off at a rapid pace, even turned off. Never stopped. But it did charge. We'll see how long this one lasts.
Junk--Doesn't work. Thought this was a good product initially. But then it stopped working. Appears to be cheaply manufactured junk. Stay away. There are better products out there. Would give zero stars if I could.
Great idea? Good product, works fine for one of my dogs, who isn’t as high energy and more sensitive with a thin fur coat. I also have a hardheaded dog who bulldozes through everything. She shakes her head at all settings and the prongs have a hard time with her thicker fur coat. Consider your own dog before purchasing. Pros: Battery life is awesome, lasts for days on both collar and remote. If your dog is sensitive, works like a charm. Cons: Operation - The remote is not the easiest to use, and mine will not operate two collars at once. I couldn’t get a second collar to connect to one remote and I followed the instructions multiple times. I have to carry two remotes and I cannot turn them on at the same time. I use painters tape to tell which remote goes to which collar. Functionality - the plastic clasp is a huge problem for me. I have very active dogs who are good at removing collars. Now I have a collar with a broken clasp that I’m trying to figure out how to reattach. Metal buckles would be an improvement.

Works great when it works. This is my second remote and collar from this company. My first was absolutely amazing until I had a family member lose the remote. I bought this one and there seems to be some type of short in the remote. It glitches when you try and change anything. And forget about adding a second collar to it. It has 4 channels. But it acts like it will go to another channel but them jumps back. You cannot change the setting on it either. My last one you could easily change them. This one the dial only seems to work on very rare occasions. I would say that if you get the right one of these, best collar you will ever buy. But if you get a bad one, it is really bad and barely functional.
Harmful to my dog. The product worked as advertised. For us the battery on the collar lasts over a week. The sound, vibration and shock all work however over the last couple days by dog started to smell awful so I took the collar off to give him a bath. His neck was wet so I took a closer look. To my dismay he had four sores from the probes. One of the spots was wet, oozing, and smelled putrid. I immediately threw it away. Luckily he is healing on his own. We used the lowest possible setting for both the shock and vibration. The shock we only used a few times over the past several weeks since we’ve had it and the vibration very sparingly. Please be aware of the risk before and when using this.
