Pros
Excellent + tips for assembly. Expect to spend a couple of hours assembling. The instructional diagrams are clear but you need to pay very careful attention to each step to get things in the correct orientations. The sides of the deep bottom (file) drawer are low (see photo), so don't plan to fill it with small items that could fall out the sides. Wires are provided to hold pendaflex folders, and the wires can be placed during assembly for US Letter size, or European A4 size. When assembling the large bottom drawer, pay careful attention to get the sides, pieces 11 and 12, in the correct positions as shown in step 16. I had them reversed. That makes the screw holes in the wrong places for the rails. I had to disassemble and reassemble correctly. Other reviews have complained about the bottom drawer not sliding in all the way. First, the rails have to be put on correctly as shown in step 20. Then, I had to put the case on top of a table and use a bright light to see what I was doing when putting the bottom drawer into the case. IT HELPS to pull the rails in the case out as far as they will go repeatedly, while you attempt to push the drawer all the way in in stages. Once the bottom drawer is in correctly, it opens and closes smoothly, and closes completely. Two of the 4 wheels on the case have locks. The aluminum handles look fine, but their right and left edges are sharp. You might like to sand those down.
Penny wise and pound foolish. It took me over two hours to assemble the product, which negated any savings form the purchase price. I am technically inclined and never have a problem assembling items, and this product was no exception. However, if you decide you are up to the challenge, take an extrodinary close look at every step and then look again before picking up the screwdriver. Especilly study the nearly last step where you fit the bottom file drawer into the cabinet. The drawer will not close unless you have the silver metal inner "ball bearing cart" all the way to the front, otherwise the drawer will only partially close. Its tricky and requires some finesse.
It's aaaaight! Assembly wasn't too bad once everything was laid out. It's pretty solid and sturdy. Top drawer gets janky. But I'm not Bob The Builder so I could of went wrong somewhere.. Am I going to fix it? no. Second drawer a lil lopsided. That' not my fault for sure.. *Side Eye*lol. Am I going to return it? no. Missing instruction. There was no instruction as to exactly attach the bottom rail system on the actual drawer. The rail system was somehow damaged, but we were able to work around it.
Good looking but challenging to put together. As others commented, the instructions could be better. But I really didn't struggle until I got to the final step and no matter how I do it the bottom drawer will not close all the way. There is about a 1-inch gap but I am tired of messing with it so I guess it is what it is. Other than this, it is a good-looking cabinet and very sturdy. But overall it looks messy because it won't close. I think if I had to do it again, I would spend a tad more and just get one that didn't need put together. Oh, and the little pieces of styrofoam that are on everything are a nightmare to clean up. Worse than glitter...
AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Bought this unit as I was looking for a file cabinet for my home office, and didn't want the typical metal cabinet. Once received, I was missing 2 parts for the drawer installation; I contacted Devaise and they not only responded VERY quickly, they sent the parts needed to complete the installation just as quickly; and even followed up afterwards. While the assembly took some time, it was SO worth it. Cabinet is the perfect size for what I wanted, and is very sturdy; and it looks SO good! Very pleased with the product, and also with the customer service I received. Would not hesitate to order from this company again!!

Looks good but hard to put together! I was looking forward to having this small addition to my desk at home. This cabinet was easy to put together until we got to installing the railing for the draws. That part was confusing to the point that I sent it back and ordered another one that looked similar to this cabinet but was way more easy to assemble. I’m not Bob the Builder and don’t put too many things together so I need something that is easy to assemble but sturdy at the same time…..if that makes sense!
Does the Job but it's Cheap. Not impressed with the overall quality. Tolerance is pretty sloppy and the inner dimensions of the cabinet leave a bit to be desired. It does the job but should be closer to $60 dollars, not almost $100.

Take your time & study instruction book carefully and you should have no problem. instruction book was hard to follow because there was no actual written instructions ,they were just pictures but if you studied them very carefully, the holes lined up and everything worked out, took several hours to put together but looks good, a pretty good value for the price.
Not the best file cabinet. File cabinet is ok. Bottom drawer won't stay closed and pops back open. I don't like the bottom front wheel sticking out - the metal plate is very unbecoming.
