Pros
Good camera, great picture quality. Overall, this is a good camera for the price. After fully charging it, setup was easy while following the instruction book and in-app directions. I had it connected to the 2.4G band of my wifi and up and running within minutes. It has a voice prompt that alerts you to the progress and status. Once mounted and connected to the solar panel, I took about an hour to play with it and get used to the app. I found it easy to figure out and configure to my needs. This is for a lake cabin that is not constantly occupied. The purpose is to keep an eye on the boat, snow depth, wildlife, etc. I elected to not subscribe to the available cloud service. Instead, I installed a 128G micro SD card. It is basically the same thing, but without a monthly fee. The live view works great overall, and the PTZ is excellent. Picture quality and color is excellent, both in SD and HD. Sound quality is good. Two-way voice works as intended, and the night spotlight is very bright. Night vision works very good for the coverage area I need. The motion detection has 3 settings, low, medium, and high. Notifications come through to the phone quickly. I have two minor complaints- 1, I’m not a big fan of how the camera mounts, it is mounted whole, there is not a separate mount that screws to the wall, then the camera connects to it so the camera can easily be removed and put back up, as is the case with many similar cams on the market. The entire thing must be removed in the event it needs to be taken down for any reason. 2, build quality could be better. Maybe mine was just a fluke, but one of the antennas broke off when I was folding them into position. I was able to drill a hole in it and put a screw through it, remounting it to the camera body. It seems to be working fine so far, but time will tell… For these two minor complaints, I reduced my review by one star. So far this unit is holding up well in the cold Minnesota winter, the solar panel is keeping it charged and operational so far, despite some single digit and lower overnight temps. I can’t yet report on long term reliability, but so far so good. I’ll update this review if anything comes up.
Customer support made things right. I initially found the following items that resulted in my dislike for these cams. Can’t set regions. So only option to point cam to avoid common traffic area. App is confusing. However the Videos are clear and camera responsive. The battery seems to maintain with normal sun. I am testing with local storage - not cloud. It seems to be working well. I was contacted by Kiki from xega customer support and the issues resolved. Very informative and helpful support. As such I’ve edited my review.

Simple and Useful. Very easy to use. Love that it’s solar powered. Mine always seems to be low on battery, but doesn’t seem to run out. Not sure if I need to move the solar panel or if that’s just the amount of power it can absorb. Would purchase again.
Great Product. this item does what it say it does. enjoy the viewing mode (zoom in/out) clear and precise. Night vision and security light placed at the right angle it covers area wells. speaker must have; as sometimes my dog attempts to cross the street and I can track him on the CS and turn micro phone on and let him know not to try it. Audio is great with volume control. Set up - follow instructions----Overall a great product; and yes if you think you need this item get it, you won't be disappointed (make sure you have good Wifi/and access to sunlight/sunrays to keep your battery charged.

Just Ok. The picture quality is great but the motion sensor is not that great. The camera only picks up motion if it's pointing directly at you and your about 20 feet away. If your to the side of it, it won't. I have another camera similar to this one and it picks up motion if your in front of it or to either side of it. The other camera will also turn towards the motion, this one doesn't. Also, in that app ("ICloud"), you can specify the motion area. The application ("UBox") for this camera doesn't have an option for this. You can only specify low, medium or high sensitivity. If your looking for a camera just for occasional viewing, this is a good option. If your looking for one to pick up motion, I would pass on this one.
does not last all night. Bought this camera for the wireless operation so I would not have to run power to it so it would work even in a power outage, but it does not evn last half way through the night. After dark the battery dies very fast even after changing settings to save power, now I have to buy an extra long USB cable to power it, for all this trouble and having to run power wires any way I should just return it. Night is the time I really need it for, now I have to come up with wiring solutions when I thought this would fit my needs. VERY unhappy
BEST WAY TO WASTE MONEY. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! 1st problem they don't like to connect to the app. 2nd image quality is terrible if your with in 4 feet its decent any further then that don't even waste the space on you're phone pointless to even try 3rd video recording is terrible very pixelated you have a better quality using a camera from the 90s 4th most of the time they wont even wake up when something passed by it up to a 20 second delay which is pointless. 5th if you have 2 of them when you go to view the recording it plays on the other one and vice versa dont make sence but it is what it is at this point. 6th you have to pay for a subscription per camera so if you have 2 cameras you have to pay for the subscription twice. yeah they charge using the solar panels but kind of pointless if you cant view what they recorded.
Worthess. The motion detection was extremely unreliable. A truck driven past it would not even trigger it.
