It took about 2 minutes to download the app and register. Once that occurs you can attempt to detect the camera once you turn it on. Pairing and configuration was intuitive and straight forward. I had a working camera and app in less than 5 minutes. The camera resolution is quite nice for a wireless camera and in testing, all features and functions performed as expected. The camera will send a notification to your phone when it detects motion so you can check the app immediately and see what is going on. Also it saves the recordings or photos which are accessible from the app. You are able to listen to an activity near the camera or talk to guests in the back yard. The volume is not very loud .. however, it is clear enough to be heard. The night vision has a 33’ range is relatively clear. The 1080P HD is also impressive for a wireless camera. The view does have a slight fish eye view to it. The battery life of the camera is not that great. So to me able to charge it with the solar panel is a plus. Love this Camera. This is by far the best wireless camera you can purchase on Amazon, It took only a few minutes to Install and and the Solar Panel Works perfect. The App is very easy to use and I can login from anywhere to see around my house. I definitely recommend purchasing this. Great Solar Powered Camera. I use the IOS App (iPhone) for the setup and use of the camera. The setup was very easy, installing the App via a QR was done in minutes. The set up included connecting to your WIFI network, again this was easy and trouble free. Your pictures and videos can be stored on a Micro SD Card; however, the card is not included, and you must purchase this separately. The solar panel charging system works well. Connecting to my WIFI network was simple and took only a few minutes. Both pictures and video are easily saved to either the cloud or your Micro SD card. The night vision is exceptional (IR) and the white light setting for short range color viewing was quite good. All the mounting hardware needed for a secure install was included. I installed the camera in my back yard for added security. The camera is easily removed for re-charging (magnetic mount). The 2-way audio is crystal clear. The interface in the app is very clear and concise, super clean, simple, and easy to use. The build quality is solid, it feels like a very durable and well-built device. It has the heft and feel of a quality product. The magnetic mount is very strong and completely adjustable so that you can aim it where you need it. I was able to check the camera while out of the house, clear pictures and the motion alarms work very well. All in all, this is an exceptional camera, I found it to be easy to set up, maintain and use. I have other ZUMIMALL cameras and found the customer service second to none. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! The media could not be loaded. This is my fourth purchase of DZees outdoor security cameras, the first three had optional magnetic mount, this one does not. It's just a matter of personal choice, but I placed the magnetic ones out of reach, where they couldn't be easily removed, and the non-magnetic screw-in type where if someone tried to remove it, it would be difficult. Set-up is very easy, installation and operation are very easy as well! No need for several different units and expensive gadgets, these wireless, solar-powered cameras do the trick! Stylish, practical, affordable, they also have two-way talk, flashing alarm, cloud storage, weatherproof (they've worked fine in cold or hot weather here in Texas), are rechargeable via the solar panels or if need be inside via USB cable (we only had to recharge one camera because the solar panel was in the shade and power ran out very quickly, we also moved solar panel). Very happy with all of these cameras, I would recommend to anyone looking for less expensive, easy to install and use security cameras! Buy with confidence!
Well made outdoor security camera. I have tried several security cameras over the past 3 years and this is one of the best I have ever bought. The instructions are very simple to understand and the setup went very fast. I wanted to see how long the camera would operate without the solar charging so I charged it fully using the included cable and installed it in my patio. The camera worked flawlessly for three weeks before running out of charge. I have other solar powered security cameras and I am sure that, once I hook up the solar cell, it will function without care for many months to come. I am tired of long power cords needed for most of my cameras and have become a believer in solar power for my security network. You won't be disappointed in this product; I wasn't. Full disclosure: I was given an incentive to write this review. If the product was substandard, I would say so. But it was good and I am happy I bought it.

Camera is okay, software isn't. Before ordering this camera, I asked if it had a PC app vs. phone/tablet. Seller answered and said it did. So I ordered it. It doesn't. You have to install an android emulator which are huge security risks. But what good is a camera you can only see on a tiny screen? No thanks. The picture was fine on the recording, but there is no live-view at all. If you think "what is that sound outside" and want to see what is going on? Nope. You have to wait until the camera detects something, records it, then you can look at the recording. Go buy a Reolink. $10.00 more on Amazon, you get PC or phone software and you dont need cloud. It records to SD and then syncs to your computer. You can live stream too so you can see what is going on wihout having to wait for a recording. I am not affiliated with Reolink - I just bought one of their similar solar cameras after this one didnt meet my needs and love it.
Buyer Beware. Camera and App are bad. This is the third time I wrote this review. After receiving 2 poor quality cameras, I sent them back. The company asked if they could send me new cameras that were supposed to be better. They also offered a free one subscription to the app. I should have never done this as all I've ended up with is frustration. The app eats my phone battery, the camera records in 10 second intervals is all and it go on and off 50 times a day, even without movement. I see all these favorable reviews and I'm guessing the company made the same deal with many more people. If you buy, be prepared. Oh and you can only email text support, no phone, overseas. So you're waiting a day or two to hear back.
Many false alarms. The camera is easy to set up and the picture is clear and sharp. The reason for the lower rating is that many of the functions require you to buy a subscription to make them work. Without the subscription every time the wind blew the motion detection was triggered. So I bought the subscription and turned on the AI, to detect only people. Also set the area to where there were no trees or other things. It reduced the motion detections from over two hundred to only 30-40 this morning. Battery in the fist day down to 53%. Will continue to monitor and if I can keep adjusting and get it to work reasonably will update this review. By the way, the one I installed inside works like a champ.
Additional fees for more activities features. The media could not be loaded. At first, I really liked this camera but I guess that's because it's my first security camera. As time went by, I noticed that this camera has limited usage. To use ACTIVITY ZONE and AI ANALYSIS (such as for person, pets, vehicles, etc) you'll need to pay additional fees. The battery doesn't last nowadays, after only 6 months of using. If it's not sunny outside for 1-2 days, the battery will completely die. The MOTION DETECTION is not that great either, maybe because it needs the ACTIVITY ZONE feature. I set this camera in front of our house (pictured), where you can see our sidewalk and driveway. However, it doesn't record when cars enter the driveway. Nothing is detected even when people exit the car (see video). The camera only detects motion when the person already in front of our door. So if a bad guy comes, you won't even notice them until they're at your front door. To me, this camera isn't worth the price. 2K video....really! The actual videos aren't as good as 720P. There are cheaper cameras out there with better features! Based on my experience and the fact that you have to pay for further features, this security camera is not even worth $50! If I could, I would return it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!
Could be better. The motion detection is too slow so by the time the camera starts recording anything that was happening is already finished. It takes forever to connect to the livestream too so it's not very useful if you want to see who's at your door, etc. I have a great router and fast wifi so I'm confident that's not part of the problem. I would give 5 stars and probably buy several more of these if not for the lag issues and crappy software. You also have to pay if you want to use advanced functionality in the app. Wouldn't recommend for any kind of security use
Don't expect customer support. I purchased tis camera over two weeks ago. I installed the camera and solar panel but cannot get the solar panel plug in to the camera to fit correctly and thus it doesn't charge the camera. I have emailed customer support twice in the last two weeks and have never recieved a response leaving me to believe they may not have customer support. Other than that the camera works good, good picture quality and good night vision. Battery will last about 2 weeks between chqrges but you have to take it down to usb charge it and it takes about 8-9 hours from 25% to full.
