I love this thing! I bought the "upgraded" model with LEDs on three sides, and a white interior rather than a silvery one. Boy, was it worth the upgrade cost! Everything about this model of light box exceeds my expectations, and the features are better than any of the (many) other similar offerings I've looked at. Here are some things I especially liked about this model: Fully diffused standoff lighting on three sides, with ability to shoot through a door in the ceiling, or through a door in the reflective front wall, or to remove the front wall for wider shots or different lenses. The amazingly even lighting is on a par with that of much more expensive equipment I've used in the past. Includes multiple colored plastic backgrounds that are held securely in place and do NOT slip (read the instructions). These backgrounds really vanish and the items I photograph look like they are floating in an evenly-lit featureless space. Very sturdy. Many other models that appear similar are really flimsy by comparison. I hate wobbly flimsy stuff, and thankfully this one is very solid. Very easy to fold and unfold. Clever pop-up design for the lighting modules! Everything fits very nicely into a portfolio bag (included) that stores in minimal space. No loose parts. Allows me to take great photos even with an older phone camera. If mine were damaged, I'd buy the same model without hesitation.
Good and reliable to a point. So the main product that your buying is good, the folding box with lights, its bright has a few settings for brightness, does come across as very white on camera. My only issue is the paper backgrounds they give you. If your product doesn't have enough weight inside while on the paper it can fall over and the paper will crease up. The box has tabs to hold the paper in place, but it just doesn't hold it very well. And the paper comes already bent.
Great for the most part. I love the big size and how it comes with a bag to put it all in. My only issue is I still have to go through my photos and use the brightness option to increase the light in my photos. Absolutely best find for selling jewelry!!! This little photo studio sets up in minutes and gives you the most amazing professional pictures of anything you want to sell in my case, and with several backgrounds to highlight your product. Then folds down and can be put away in literary about 2 minutes. I have received so many compliments and would easily buy the largest one for bigger items. I went with the smallest size because of how much jewelry and accessories that I felt that was all I needed. I also received it on a lightning deal to top it off, so the price was even better! However I was already impressed with the price at full price. The only thing I would recommend changing somehow is either the material of the colored backgrounds as they do kind of get dinged up and while there are a lot of colors to choose from, my palette would be different and you end up using the same ones but only one color is on each side so you cannot flip it over it maybe you accidentally scratched it or something. Still 5 stars ⭐️ in my opinion and folds up super small and compact!
Great light box! Bought this off a recommendation from a reselling YouTuber we watch, and it is awesome! We use it every single day. Includes a light diluter sheet to tone down brightness and reflections if necessary without reducing the light itself. Have only used a couple of the background colors, but they're easily interchangeable to customize per item. The only 'issue' or 'complaint' I may have is that there's no lip at the front of the box to keep the background sheet from sliding out. It doesn't go far, and we found a way to make it work, but that might be something to work on in the future.
I like it. I had a smaller photo studio from this same company and it was too floppy for what I wanted. This one is sturdy and doesn't wobble around. It get really bright and I light that you can control the brightness of the lights. It comes with lots of color backdrops. I don't like that they are a bit shiny (not in your face shiny) but I would have preferred no shine at all. Works well for me in photoing jewelry.

Great product but WAY too small. The media could not be loaded. I ordered the 25cm light box because most of the items that I video or takes photos of are normally small. When I received the lightbox, I immediately knew it was too small. It's really easy to assemble. All you have to do is pull a tab inside the box that will straighten out the box. Then you insert the backdrop, which you have multiple backdrops colors to choose from. The lights are on the top of the box and shine down on the subject. If you want to, you could put the box on the side to shine light from a different angle. The light turns on when you plug in it's usb to a power source. I have a few magsafe battery packs for my phone that I used to plug in the usb. It's nice, because it makes it even more portable. There is a diffuser you are supposed to use that will spread out the intensity of the light on the subject but they did a terrible job placing the velcro in the box. The diffuser attaches very awkwardly and hangs down. There is a circular cutout is supposed to match up with the top of the box but it doesn't line up very well but that's because of the way they set up the velcro. Other than that the Studio Light Box is a very well made product. It lights your subject very nicely and if you are trying to photograph something really small, this will do just the trick. But that's the thing, it has to be VERY small. The box is so small that even small items that I use are too big for it. You have to crop most of the pictures because the silver sides show up in your pictures. I want to get all of the resolution that I can out of a picture so that's not good at all. I used a 2 inch toy, and even that small item shows the sides of the box. Overall, the quality of the product (other than the diffuser) is amazing. The biggest con is that it's too little. If you use small jewelry as your subject, maybe this will work for you but if you are going to use this for anything that is not tiny, I would recommend getting a 12" or larger and definitely NOT this one.
Visible sides, sagging diffuser, gets HOT. Pros: This thing is really bright, simple to set up/take down, and gets the job done if you’re taking pictures of very small (non-reflective) items. It also comes with some plastic-y backdrops and a reflective board, which is nice. Cons: Almost certainly a fire hazard. The cable gets SUPER hot after having it on for short periods. It’s very small. This is great for Hot Wheels or jewelry, but your Funko Pop! figure isn’t going to fit well, BECAUSE the included lighting diffuser sags halfway down the area you’re trying to photograph. You can see it peeking into frame in my attached photo. None of the photos on the listing or the included instructions show it being so limp. It’s already a small box, so effectively halving the space is inconvenient at best and maddening at worst. Overall, if you’re taking pictures of small items, can work around a frustrating piece of cloth hanging down, and are using it for less than ten minutes at a time (lest it burst into flame), this is perfect. If you have items taller than three inches, need it on for longer than an episode of Spongebob, or want a sensical setup, I’d recommend searching for other options.
Black velcro seams against white sides and top create reflections. The box is excellent, easy to assemble, diffuse side and top light, fully adjustable brightness. I purchased specifically for bottle shots of wine and the size is perfect. So pleased! Then taking a close look at the first shots.... strange reflective lines all along the front... zoom in.... the black velcro on the sides and the white panel panels created reflections. If only they had used white velcro this wouldn't be an issue. I'm going to try and soften with adding white paper or velcro to cover the seems.
Get what you pay for. This isn't terrible...to be honest the lighting is pretty incredible for the price but unless you only plan on using small items, you can see the sides. Also the shade that it comes with to minimize reflection is useless. It sags so low its impossible not to get it in the shot. I like the variety of backdrops and the easy set up/break down. I was able to take a few successful sample shots that looked pretty good. You just really have to play around with the angles more than usual. Haven't decided if I'm going go keep it or return it yet.

It’s just an overpriced mass produced DIY project. Wow. Make no mistake: this item is merely a small, collapsible, fabric storage bin (a cloth, cubby/shelf organizer), lined with insulation commonly used in coolers or lunchboxes, with a LED light glued to the top. The only thing setting this apart from a decent “mass produced DIY project” is a plastic cut out on the top. Only 3 of the liners are a reusable plastic— the other colors: blue, green, and red, are construction paper. I have used construction paper as a background before and it doesn’t fare well with repeated use, usually tearing, denting, and ripping within the first few uses (if you are a food photographer, this is not the product you want to be using! It is completely unacceptable and deceptive for this company to market a “burger photo” on the blue backdrop). If I wanted to keep using construction paper for my backgrounds, I’d just keep going back to Dollar Tree. Putting it together and using it is very easy— you’d have to be a buffoon not to figure it out, because again, it’s just a foldable storage bin. It does not come with an adapter— you must get that yourself, so it makes using it annoying unless you want to give up your phone’s charger. They shipped it to me in its box. Literally. Though, the backdrops are in traditional colors, they produce poor quality images. I have attempted to photograph several mundane objects on various brightnesses, utilizing each background (paper and plastic) and the items did not look good. I would also like to note that I even used various cameras during the shoots, including Sony and Canon, as well as my iPhone. The quality was poor-mediocre. Post-production is the only thing that can resurrect what you are attempting to produce using this “light box”. If that! I truly do not see what everyone is raving about, especially regarding the price. As you can see in my images, this box won’t do you or your items justice. **ADVICE** You’d be better off investing in some white project board (I believe you can get a 4ftx8ft white hardboard at Home Depot for just $14.00) and a nice little spot with lots of good old fashion sunshine (which is free of charge). Beats this thing ANY DAY!
