Pros
Great adjustable ring light. The media could not be loaded. Just received the ring light this weekend in time for a project. My favorite features: -Bluetooth capture button which works with both iOS & android, with easy connection (I hate having to stand up to turn on, off) -Light control options (3 with +/- adjustments… I’m not terribly vain about my appearance, as you see in the video, haha. It’s still nice to have the options depending on the day’s sunlight) -Height Adjustment options. This is a basic feature of course but it still is a pro to the product.
Sturdy Tripod and Plenty of Light. The media could not be loaded. I produce videos for my blog and needed a second ring light so that multiple subjects can be evenly lit. I really love the tripod with this ring light, as it is much sturdier that some other models I have tried. The adjustable base is at the bottom, making it less likely to tip over, and all the control knobs are of a sturdy design. The ring light is easy to attach and use, with three different light modes, from warm to cool. A great light.
Game changer for our Zoom meetings. The media could not be loaded. This light is a game changer when hubby uses Zoom. We had terrible glare from the overhead lights. With this Selfie Ring Light he can leave the overhead lights off and get a great Zoom display. I have attached 2 pictures. One is what everything looks like with the overhead lights. The second is just with the ring light and a small lamp over his reading stand. I also attached a short video showing the ring light placement to the desk. We haven’t used it to take selfies yet but expect it to work just as well. It is sturdy. The light has several brightness’s. The product is great and really solves a big problem for us. I highly recommend it.
Cons
Not bright enough. I refinish furniture, and I purchased this mainly to have something to light up projects I'm working on. Even from 2 feet away, the light on it's brightest setting wasn't enough to see. It's about the intensity of a 25w bulb at the highest. It says there are 10 levels of brightness, but after the 3rd click, there's no discernable change in brightness. Returning.
