Wife fixed the tilt problem in less then 5 minutes. When purchasing this item, I read a lot of reviews stating the tilt was not tightening enough and the heavier monitors could not be held straight. My lovely wife figured it out in less then 5 minutes. As shown in the pictures with this review simply first remove the tilt screw, metal washer and nut on both arms. Then use the smallest Allen Wrench to push the hard plastic washer (these should have been rubber washers) that is between the white parts where the screw went through. Put the screw, metal washer and nut back together and it tightens with ease. It now holds the 3 new 27" Asus monitors (waiting for other 2 monitors to arrive but did try monitor on all 3 spots to adjust the tilt). I will add more photos to this review once the other 2 monitors arrive. Hope this helps everyone.
Awesome mount, glad I got this one. 3 x 32” 4ks no problem. This worked perfect on my small desk holding 3 x 32” 4k monitors. LG32UK50T. I have them set full horizontally. I did not over tighten during setup and they haven’t moved after a week. But you can easily move them upon touching them.
Supports my heavy 27's just fine. It is important to have a support system in life. It is also important for your monitors to have a support system too! The gas shocks/hydraulics/whatever witchcraft/sorcery keeps these in place does its job. Tilt feature for side monitors not up to spec. DO NOT BUY! I have 3 32" curved monitors (Philips 328E1) which I used with this mounting solution. Each monitor weighs in at only 11 pounds, which is way below the advertised weight limit! The tilt feature works great on the middle monitor, but the tilt feature on both the outer arms is not to spec. I have tightened the tension bolt as far as it will go and still the monitors tilt forward and will not hold. The arms all adjust and hold as they should, only the tilt on the outer arms does not hold the position set. every other aspect of the mount is sturdy, just not the tilt which is extremely important to get monitors placed as needed. I used the drill hole thru desk option for the mount of the center pole and this method does prove to be very sturdy with no wobble. I really wish the mounts worked as advertised for 32" monitors as I could rate 5 stars if it was not for the tilt feature being such a flaw. I will have to see what I can rig together to address the tilt issue and will share once I figure it out. Added photo after I had to move desk. I was using Velcro on the back of the monitors to hold in place, but I am past frustrated after having to move the setup and try to get lined up again. I would return for refund but missed the return window by a week.
Bad Quality For the Price. Review Update - 08/30/2020 - See original review below Changing from 4 stars to 1 with my 2 cents of "do not buy". There's no option to remove all stars :) else would have rated 0 In just within 3 months of the use, the Gas Springs can not hold the monitor. My initial setup had three 24 inch monitors. The arm started showing signs of not holding from the end of the month and I ended up damaging one of my monitors in the process adjusting and tightening tension etc. Replaced damaged monitor with another 24 inches monitor but this stand struggles to hold a single monitor. Switched monitors position etc. n all... There is no way that these arms can hold the promoted 17.6 lbs limit. My monitors weigh 9 lbs. Tried increasing the tension, recommended steps shown in videos, and the information available on the web. Nothing works. Can't even say I got what I paid for as I paid a solid $135.41 for this. I wish there was an option to return or get a refund. Please do not buy it. This review is coming from a user who used this for 3 months and ended up damaging one of the monitors (costing $138 - more than that of ARM). I regret this purchase. -------- Old Review dated 05/2020 I needed a triple monitor ARM to set up my home office and did extensive research. Read multiple reviews of different products and ended up buying this product based on reviews and features. I so want to give it 5 stars but the only reason I cannot is that it is not that easy to assemble. It's not rocket science to assemble but the assembly instructions are completely wrong. Also, the gas springs are of good quality and can hold my 27" monitors the process to set up arms, and set correct angle/tension is time-consuming. It may be because I want everything to be symmetrical and perfect but I ended up spending close to 4 hours to get it right. Now that the setup is complete, the stand holds my triple monitor perfectly. Cable management is good. It came with all tools and parts required to install the monitors. It could have been a perfect product only if two items are researched and worked on: 1. Easy of assembly 2. Cost. I did a study on multiple products and this cost $130 whereas similar products came around $90. The reason I purchased this one is that the comparative number of feedback for the bad spring quality was less. But again the only advantage was of good quality spring and that should not increase the cost of this product by $40. I will continue using this product and update the review accordingly.
Not for curved. I bought 3 Acer 31.5" curved monitors to upgrade my home workspace from 3 27" monitors. As I was buying curved I need more adjustability in the arms from my previous mount which is fixed. These monitors weigh in at just over 13lbs so I figure this mount would do fine. Wrong, I was. Yeah, the first center monitor went on great but as soon as the two monitors for the arms went on you can see it leaning toward you. I could also hear creaking in my desk. I have always added a piece of 2x4 at the mount on the desk to give it that extra stability as well as increase the thickness of the desk as my previous mount would not fully close without it. I will say that it does look well built and the gas shocks in the arms are actually really nice compared to some I have seen. I just don't see that mount ending well for me, my desk, and my monitors. On a side note: I was contemplating taking this mount to work to use for my 3 monitors there but decided against it and will look for something else.
