Great PC for anything! This computer was on sale so I got it at a very nice price. The components exceed the price it is being sold at. The PC runs everything that I play very well and I love it for sure. sometimes the GPU does bottleneck but that's when I try running ultra settings going at 1080p with a duel monitor setup. But with that there is always room for improvement on the PC and you can make upgrades. Recommendations- 1)Get a better CPU cooler, an Intel Core i9-12900 is a very strong and good CPU and will need something more powerful than a normal fan and heatsink, I recommend getting a water cooler. 2)Get another 16gb of RAM- This just makes your experience much better and smoother My "cons"- These aren't really cons just more so things I wish were with the PC 1) I wish there were more SATA ports (there is only 1) 2) I with there were more PCIe slots for a variety of tasks 3) I really wish there were more ports for fans! There aren't many ports for fans so you're stuck with 3 ports to use. 4) There would be a picture of the motherboard on the product description so I could have known what I was getting motherboard wise

Should have come with a Gen 4 like Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB PCIe Gen 4.0 Incredible PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe performance. Speeds up to 7300MB/s. Keyboard and mouse you will want to replace. Update: After an auto firmware upgrade the system would not boot and would not recognize by recovery disk. I return the computer to amazon. Update: It was Photoshop element 12 cause the computer to lockup not the BIOS Upgrade. Update Each drive in your system has a Bitlock recovery key. You need to find the Recovery codes for all your drives so you can unlock the drives when you need to repair drives. Print the numbers and save them. You will need them one day. Bitlock Key lookup CMD as admin Type manage-bde -protectors -get c: C: drive letter so change to D: for D drive Keypass code will be the password 48 numbers
Screaming little beauty. This machine is a beast in almost all elements. Processor, graphics, HD, etc. Where it lacks is the RAM. I immediately bought a new set of RAM with it. Easy to add as it has 4 slots with only 2 used. Also, this machine only has one internal supply for an additional SSD hook-up. I had planned on two extras but had to settle for one. That's fine. Also, like others have mentioned, why in these days do we still get a wired keyboard and mouse with it? That is almost tacky that's how outdated that is But otherwise I am super happy with this purchase. Super easy for my 3 monitor (plus VR headset) setup. Super fast on all what I need it for (mostly photo, video editing and programming with emulation). Beautiful case that just looks sleek and fancy, not tacky like a lot of christmas lighting gaming setups. Also, did I mention this little beast is whisper quit. Damn, sometimes I think this isn't on at all. Big upgrade from what I had before and totally worth the (sales) price.
Great build and fast! I purchased this for my online biz to replace an older HP that was still working fine but just was getting slow and old. I had that one for over 12 years - i7. The only thing I would state is the confusing specs in the listing. It shows 11 USB 2 ports and 2 USB 3. That's not correct. It has a total of 7 USB ports. That's quite a difference as my old HP had 12 USB ports. I am an IT Mgr of a worldwide company of 33 years. I try to only purchase HP products as they simply last with little problems. I did buy my first Dell a few years ago and it will be my last.
Has all the power you need. Doesn't have enough memory. Needs at least 32 GB. Used for video editing.

Cons
So far so good! I will miss the pretty lights my other computer had but might figure out ways to incorporate some of them into this PC. It immediately recognized the RAM I slipped in, it's running pretty good, loaded up the games I like fine, boots up quick enough. A major issue I have with the one I received is there's only one sata connection. There's space on the motherboard for 3 more, but only 1 soldered on. The 1tb it comes with isn't enough alone, and I was hoping to be able to just move my drives over, but quickly found this big issue (it is for me at least) immediately upon receipt of the computer. No where does the page (at the time of my purchase, or at the time of the typing of this review) does it state how many SATA ports there are inside. It's fine other than that, and luckily a nice large drive was on sale, but sales don't last forever and for the price I really expected to be able to just keep using my storage I already had. I'll update this review after more usage (didn't even turn on the computer till the extra storage arrived and I moved some files) but for the bit of testing I was able to do after a couple hours of setting up it seems great so far. I probably need to tune it a bit more and disable some of the bloatware before getting into all of that though. Oh and it came with McAfee. Big nope and immediately uninstalled that. Edit: Still running great. I can have render distance set to the max in Minecraft. Runs slime rancher 2 (early access at edit time) great. Stuff like Stardew runs perfect. New game coming out later this month I can't wait to try out with it. I can have multiple sessions of Cura (3d print slicing software) running with no issues. So far only issue I have had with it is one of the times I left it on it was very laggy out of nowhere and I had to restart. Was only on a few hours. If it happens again I'll look deeper into it but it's only happened once.
Bad experience. Computer was doing great. Then it automatically upgraded bios. Seemed to go ok but after the upgrade the computer would not boot. 2 hours with tech support and they said I have to reinstall OS. They said it can only be done with HP recovery 32gig usb thumb drive which they have to mail me and charge 20$. The bios on the system is limited and will not allow you to install a default windows OS. You have to use their recovery USB. The bios does does not seem to support raid. I got the pc for 1399 and the reinstall worked. But it was a pain. The hp bloat ware is not great. The pc is fast and good value but the motherboard and bios not so great
No expansions. Beside the ssd boot drive that comes with, there are only one port left for adding hard disk. And there are zero add on card slot available. I bought this for gaming so it is ok for now, but if you are looking for multi-use of this computer and plan to upgrade later. This one has no drive and drive expansion or upgrade available. however, for i9 CPU plus 3070 graphic card, I guess this is the reason for the low price. For gaming purpose, I decide to keep it and not returning it.
Amazon packaging very poor -- computer got knocked about in shipping. ***UPDATED 12-29-22**** Well we gave the gift, and it turns out the front chassis fan to the computer is not working. While we are working with HP to address this as a warranty issue, I can't help but keep thinking of how poorly Amazon packaged the HP box -- did all the knocking about knock the fan, a wire or some other connection loose? Not happy. *****ORIGINAL REVIEW***** This is a gift we'll be giving in a couple of days, but I wanted to note that while HP appears to have packed the computer well in its brand box, Amazon had simply thrown the HP box into a larger Amazon shipping box....there was no packing material to cushion the HP box, and there was about 10 inches of free space all around inside the Amazon box for the HP box to get tossed about. We're only hoping this won't affect the actual computer. We'll find out soon when we give it as a gift! But, Amazon -- really? For $1400 you can't include some kind of packing material to keep the package secure inside the Amazon box?! I won't be purchasing expensive electronics that are shipped by Amazon again -- that's for sure.
Big disappointment. I had my worries when the box came and it had obviously been opened before and taped (poorly) back up. Upon hooking it up and turning it on one of the fans was loud. Extremely loud. Turns out some of the wires were not secured properly and the fan was hitting them. Upon looking deeper one of the wires running to the power supply was damaged but still operational. Lastly, one of the ram sticks was loose upon arrival. The right side channel lock was open. I have no idea what happened to this computer before it was sent. I had a PC repair person take care of the issues which cost a couple hundred bucks. I just have no faith in the long-term health of this machine. I highly recommend you stay away from this seller.
