Pros & Cons

11 in 1 USBC hub. The media could not be loaded. Love this hub for USB C connections. This one has a TON of features that can handle dual monitors, hdmi's, phone most anything that has a USB C port. 11 in one device, what a find this unit is. Just so perfect for work and projects that I bring home and can work with them all. Coolest thing is hooking up your Samsung 9 phone through the hub and you can view two screens in DEX mode so you can then hookup your mouse and keyboard and use the display from your phone in desktop mode. Carrying case and cable are included, such a neat package.

Solid Product. Used with Dell Precision 5520. I received a laptop from my employer that just flat out doesn't have enough I/O. It has two USB 3.0, one thunderbolt 3 port, and a HDMI port. Dell sells a docking station for a ridiculous price. I was told by IT they'd get me one, after months waiting I decided to buy my own. I couldn't be happier with it! I run triple monitors at work, a 30" center and 24's to each side. The center is also connected to a shared xeon workstation. I also need to connect to ethernet, at least 2 external HDD's, 3D mouse dongle, Logitech dongle, USB 3.0 to DVI, additional HDMI, and a usb 3.0 throughput to my monitor. I'm probably missing something. So in other words, I need a desktop and laptop, but I am only given and laptop. I've been using this since May 14th with ZERO issues. Works flawless with my dell.

Good product, good price, works as expected - using Dell Latitude 7490. Really impressed with the product and it performs well. And it was half the price of what Dell wanted for one of their own docking stations. No issues to date and it's used heavily on a daily basis. The size is great, especially when you want to toss it in your briefcase when traveling. The laptop and docking station perform well running at full capacity...Two 27in monitors (HDMI), wireless mouse, keyboard, thumb drive/external hard drive, Jabra Speak mic/speaker combo. Can't answer to any gaming experience with it, but in regards to home office use, it's great and highly recommend it!

Great Alternative to a Docking Station. I was a bit hesitant when I saw this hub and how much cheaper it was than some of the competitors but figured I'd try anyways and return it if it didn't work. However, it works great! We aren't on the cutting edge with our technology and wanted something that had a VGA monitor port but still supported 3 monitors in an extended display (because I didn't want to buy yet another adapter for a monitor that could die tomorrow). So now we can use this with our current monitors and a second HDMI cable if/when the old monitor dies. It has 4 USB ports which is more than enough for my wireless keyboard/mouse, the printer, and a phone charger. I do have a Thinkpad X1 Carbon laptop and I can confirm it will do a 3 monitor extended display. The hub does not come with a power source so I just used my laptop's Type C power cable and it has no problem powering the entire assembly (including the 2 additional monitors). My only complaint so far is that the attachment from the hub to the laptop is only about 6 inches long. You will need to plan to have the laptop on a flat surface where the hub can lay next to it or you will need to mount the hub somewhere close to where the laptop sits.

Now works as extended display for Mac Books with macOS Catalina. Bought this to extend the display for 2018 Mac Book Pro 15 without fully reading all the reviews and Q&A as they say "Only works as a mirror display for Mac laptops". To my surprise, if you have the latest OS Catalina installed, this now works as an extended display. I am using the Philips 276E8VJSB 27" Monitor, 4K UHD IPS with the HDMI connection and it works great. I have not tested adding an additional monitor as well, but for sure it now works as an extended display with 1 screen. My Mac immediately and automatically added it as an extended display as soon as I plugged it in. The image is me writing this review on my extended display monitor.

Get it, it works great and makes life so much easier.... You've seen all the other photos from mostly happy buyers here, so I wont add too much to the pile. Someone asked about multiple monitors, so I added a couple pics just to show the thing in action on my HP Spectre 360..You get it. You can plug everything into it... I have a home laptop that uses two HDMI cables for dual mounted video, a wireless mouse, a USB powered cooling fan (Havit brand, also a great product), and headphones for PC (Turtle Beach 600's with the USB adapter for Windows 10). All of the above is plugged into the Hiearcool via the USB C port and everything has been running fine for a month now. I also use my work laptop and have to switch out for Display Port and USB video connections, having everything right there in front of me helps keep it easily organized and ready for quick switchouts. I have had ZERO problems and love the design, availability of ports, and overall low profile, easy to keep out of my way. If I could improve this little device I would make the USB C cable that powers the whole thing a few inches longer, but even as is its just great. I'm very happy with the purchase and performance and I recommend this product. Happy computing!

terrible quality. screens flash often and sometimes completely go black for 30 seconds or longer. One of the HDMI ports does not work. I have tried only using the one HDMI but no luck. I can get the VGA port and the other HDMI to work together but again screen consistently blinking even if I use just one or the other. I would not recommend this product, it's a complete waste of money. 4/15/20 Update. Seller contacted me about my review and initially offered a refund or a replacement. I advised I had already purchased a replacement VT200 by Visiontek (works excellent!!) then was only offered a replacement but before replacing I have to temporarily take down my review. With everything going on with COVID-19 there a ton of people looking for docking stations and mutilple monitor solutions. Even if I take down for one day I would be doing a disservice to potential buyers. Until I have something else to review this stands as is. Oh and if you tell me they are mass producing and bound to have a defect then maybe you shouldn't mass produce it. I'll update if they send a new one.

Good value but bad deal. I use this daily for my laptop while at work. I use it to connect my laptop to 2 monitors, another USB hub, mouse, keyboard, speakers and internet. Everything worked flawlessly for the first couple weeks. However, now the Ethernet port on it no longer works. I am unsure why, I have to connect that cable to my laptop directly now EDIT: I first had given this 3 stars due to the above review, since then however I have gotten multiple emails and 15 text messages telling me I can refund or replace it. I initially ignored them because I had already gone with a different solution and was willing to not care about the refund. After the 15 messages (with one telling me specifically they wanted to "make it right so I would change my negative review" I informed them that I do not need refund but will change the review. So now I have changed it. Instead of a product that I would have recommended to others knowing that I just got a bit unlucky, now I can't tell people to stay away from this company enough. Buy with caution...

Just what I needed, until it died. I often get to work from home however trying to do my job on a single screen, even two screens, can be tedious and a real pain. So, after purchasing a computer stand to give me more room on my work desk at home, I ordered a 2nd additional monitor to allow me to have three separate screens to work on. I knew I would need a docking station to allow me to configure everything property and I thought I would give this a try and see if it would work for me with my HP work laptop. After a few tweaks with the settings, I was happily able to have two large monitors to go along with my laptop screen and it has made working from home far easier and more productive. I highly recommend this product if you're looking to expand a home or office network as it was far less expensive than the docking station at my office. Update 6/10/2020: Product quit working after 6 months

Okay but with some flaws. This hub has a lot of ports for the price point, but it has some serious flaws. 1) the permanent usb-c cable that connects to your laptop/etc is very short. This is highly inconvenient at times, I cannot position it out of the way or in the direction I'd like, it would be vastly improved by a slightly longer cable. 2) when the hub is plugged into my laptop, the laptop will not wake after falling asleep and must be hard reset. This is very frustrating as expected, I ALWAYS have to remember to unplug the hub whenever I leave my laptop. Note I'm using a USB-C 3.2 port, which (according to the manufacturer Hiearcool) is supposed to operate no problem without an additional power source, and occurs with only a monitor plugged into the hub, no ssd, etc. Clearly this is not operating as it should.

Does not connect 2 monitors via HDMI. Contrary to the product description, this "docking station" does not recognize my 2 brand new AOC monitors when they are connected via HDMI. And for some reason my wireless keyboard/mouse when plugged into the docking station has VERY spotty reception. Will be returning for a full refund, and I'll just stay away from Hiearcool in the future. Made in China...what do you expect. Will be purchasing from a U.S. based company like Plugable from now on. It's worth the extra money to get working products and actual customer service and tech support.

It works, but has a few issues. I needed an alternative for the Microsoft Surface docking station which would drop my USBs with regularity. I have two external monitors and a Surface Book 2. I found this device because, even though the Surface Book 2 does NOT have the correct USB-C, the manufacturer info said that the Surface Book 2 was supported for multiple monitors. The upside is that this device does work with the Surface Book 2. I run three monitors (2 HDMI and the internal monitor). Having all of the USBs in a single module makes disconnecting easier when I go mobile. Instead of having to unplug the two things I had plugged into the keyboard, I have everything plugged into the device and when I go mobile I just unplug the device and take off. The downside is that about 2-3 times a day both monitors go black for a couple of seconds as others have also reported. Its not long, but it is disconcerting. I have had a few days where I haven't had any black outs, but its likely 3 times a week. I have had my keyboard drop a few times and have had to unplug it and then plug it into another socket. That is the only external device that has shown issues. The other odd issue is that when wake up my Surface Book 2 I usually lose my ethernet connectivity. I have to disable and re-enable the ethernet device to get it to work. I use this as a home docking station as opposed to a mobile one so I cannot really comment on its use in that manner, but I suspect it will function just fine.
