Pros
Computer system nucleus. The lack of ancillaries is an advantage and a disadvantage. Being able to select a DVD, secondary hard drive, card reader, and USB extender is nice, but not as easy as getting a complete machine with all those items integrated with a large power supply. I have added all of those items to my Beelink and they all work fine but not all together. The external power supply seems to be inadequate for full house turn on. The external hard drive and the USB extender each have their own power supply and should supplement the computer power. Also, while consolidating a dozen partly filled thumb drive's data onto a single large thumb drive using minimal equipment the following resulted; after a few TD swaps in the USB3 plug the USBc target TD failed to be recognized. Turning the computer off and restarting after a few minutes pause restored the USBc. I don't have a larger power supply, so can't try that. Otherwise I'm quite hqppy with the Beelink.
You need to install your hard disk by yourself. This is the first time I need to install the hard disk by myself. I have more than 10 PC and 10 Note Book PC before. Just because I order a bigger size (500 Gb) hard disk, there is onle one port for hard diskm then I have to take out the small size one and install the new one. For this reason, I better buy a smaller size hard disk and get and external one instead of waste a new small size mini hard disk.
Excellent little PC. For such a small PC it does pack quite some power I'm able to play a lot of older video games at medium to low settings and it is able to handle all creative software that I throw at it. It's compact size makes it portable for me to transport with me and hook it up to anywhere there is a display provided that I have a keyboard and mouse. This is basically a laptop without the built-in monitor and keyboard and a nice square package that you can hook up to any 2 displays with HDMI. Been playing fallout New Vegas on medium settings at 720p I would say it is playable. Mainly use it four Photoshop digital painting which operates and responds snappily. May upgrade the RAM and ssd in the future.
Be realistic about what this is. I've seen some people disappointed about the gaming performance. This is a dual core APU with 2 virtual CPU cores and a very weak graphics processor. This is not for gaming unless it's retro or low graphics style games. Want to play the original Mario? You can do that. Want to play Halo Infinite? Not gonna happen. Having said all this, for my needs this thing is perfect. With coupon, paid less than $300 and came with better specs than most laptops in this price range. I got this to tinker with Linux. Windows 11 can eat dirt. I've tried Pop!, Mint, Fedora, Deepin, and Ubuntu. The best experience is Ubuntu with KDE desktop. Default Ubuntu was sluggish to the point of moving the mouse pointer stuttered. Switching to KDE desktop cleared all that up and is buttery smooth. The other distros were ok, but couldn't get certain apps to work/install. But that isn't the fault of the PC. Just pointing this out for those that might want to play with Linux. The hardware is good enough for general office use, coding, watching videos/movies, and also makes a great media server. The network chips are plenty fast enough, and the Bluetooth works well, albeit doesn't have the best range. But if you're in the same room you'll be fine. Also recognized my Xbox One controller no problem. This does have a 3 ring connector, like the Xbox Controller and Smartphone. So one jack for mic and stereo sound (hence 3 ring). So if you have a headset with built in mic, you'll be fine if you don't go Bluetooth. Overall I can't really complain. If I had to knock anything, I've seen mini-PCs that cost just a little bit more that have wifi-6 and Bluetooth 5 whereas this has wifi-5 and BT 4. Given this is an AMD APU, 2 sticks of RAM would have been better. Also, as far as I can tell, there's no way to up the wattage the system uses if you want to push it a bit more. The processor runs on the hot side at 60c. Not terrible, but not great. You can adjust the fan in the BIOS though. Other than those small gripes, I'm really enjoying this thing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great desk saver PC for office, coding, media server, or just tinkering with Linux at a very reasonable price.
It works well. It's definitely not going to replace anything but it's definitely got it's own place. Added a hd and now it's a file server.

It looks like I was sent a used/returned computer. I haven't had this up and running long enough for a thorough review, but it booted up no problem. I was a bit surprised when I took it out of the box that there was something rattling around inside it. When I opened the case, I found a loose screw bouncing around, and also a data cable already attached and bent as if someone had installed and removed an SSD. (There was an unused data cable in the package along with the power cord, etc.) So, while this is working so far, I'm a bit worried that it's defective in some way. I know I got it on sale, but it wasn't sold as an open-box or refurb item.
Mircophone not usable. I tried everything I can do; again, EVERYTHING I CAN DO, I think it is also everything you can imagine, to fix it; while finally it is still not fixable. I have returned it. All other function performs very well; however, as a office-use mini PC, it is not useful at all if the microphone not useful. (It is not useful even I connect another outside-connect microphone and changed the microphone drivers)
Incorrectly Labeled. This is a decent computer, but it contains a ryzen 3550H, not a 3750. That's fine for my use, but I paid $30 more than the identical system, that was labeled 3550H, which I bought a few months ago from the same company (AREEL). All the other specs seem to be correct.
Graphics do not work properly with Linux. Do not buy if you want to run an older version Linux. It runs Linux 18.3 just fine, but only in 800x600 graphics mode, which is totally unsuitable for me. I've been looking for a new graphic driver for weeks with no results. I recently upgraded to Linux 21.0 and everything works now.
Would not boot!! I bought this pc and on first installation it would not boot. Only my cursor would appear on a blank screen. Support said there was probably a problem with the ram. Looks to be a common problem with these. Thought I just got a lemon so I exchanged for another one. Same thing. Won’t boot up and additionally has a screw or something rattling around inside. Disappointing. Will buy something else.
