Awesome mini PC, blazing fast, loaded. This review is for the Beelink SER6 PRO w/AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU... This mini PC is snappy...it handles business apps, moderate gaming, and video/photo editing without breaking a sweat. Although I wouldn't recommend this mini PC for hardcore 3D gaming, it'll run most games acceptably, especially retro games through emulators. More than sufficient for running Dolphin Wii/Gamecube emulation at 1080p resolution. It comes preloaded with a fully licensed and activated copy of Windows 11 Pro x64, no need to purchase an OS. Beelink does not "cheap out" on these mini PC's...they use reputable name-brand components - Crucial for RAM, Kingston for NVMe SSD, and Intel hardware for Wifi6 and Bluetooth. First and foremost, make sure you install the latest AMD Radeon Graphics and AMD Chipset drivers onto this mini PC for optimum performance. The AMD chipset drivers are not preinstalled nor are they installed by Windows updates. I purchased this mini PC to replace a relatively new 17-inch HP Ryzen 7 laptop, for general use, some gaming, some video & photo editing. The mini PC has a much smaller footprint than a laptop. It can be placed and hidden away easily (unlike a laptop). Beelink even includes a VESA mounting bracket so that the mini PC can be stashed behind a monitor. I was using the HP laptop as a desktop, never traveling with it as it was too large, so a mini PC just made sense. It's substantially more powerful than most laptops, including some gaming models. I have two 24-inch 1080p displays connected, plenty of screen real estate...the mini PC has no issues handling multiple displays, up to 3 out-of-the-box. The integrated Radeon GPU is quite nice, several notches above integrated laptop GPU's in terms of performance and power. Plenty of RAM, 32GB of DDR5 should future-proof this box for many years. Operates quietly...the fan only spins up when the CPU is getting pegged, and it's barely noticeable. Adding a 2.5-inch 7mm SSD is quite easy for expanding storage. Just remove the 4 screws on the bottom plate and it'll pop right in, no tools required. Easy to take apart for hardware upgrades, if that becomes necessary a few years down the road. Overall there are really no negatives...at its current price point this mini PC offers a lot for the $$$. With large displays coming down in price and the modularity of a mini PC, they're becoming the go-to for edge/business/educational computing for good reason. Mini PC's are great alternatives to both laptops and desktops, and less expensive. Docked 1 star because the bottom plate is quite tight and takes a good deal of force to remove...almost thought I'd tear the rubber grip at the bottom. Otherwise, the Beelink SER6 Pro w/AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU a great buy and I highly recommend it.
Great computer. I've had this for about 2 months now and it has worked flawlessly. Set up took about 20 minutes start to finish. Drives 2 monitors without an issue. Make sure you search the Amazon site carefully for all possible versions. When I bought this I found 3 different prices on Amazon with as much as $60 difference between the highest and lowest. All were from Beelink and for the same computer! The Beelink prices seem to change pretty fast. a month after I bought this computer, the SER7 Pro with the faster Ryzen 7 5800H was available for nearly the same price.
Good enough for 85% work tasks and games. Better use it for work, not for game. I have my old ThinkPad it's very compatible and stable, but its CPU and GPU are all outdated in 2023 and it works a bit slow when I use it. So I wanna buy a new one which can handle some heavy-duty tasks and games. So I brought this computer because I saw some videos on youtube that say AMD 7735s has the most powerful GPU in the world. I try and on this mini-pc, it has good performance on Horizon5 but not that good on Hogwarts Legacy (no that good means you can play the game but not comfortably). If you are a game player, and you wanna buy this computer for gaming, buy a gaming PC. If you buy this computer for work, that is good enough. The price is very nice and I like the color. 32GB RAM and 500g M2. are good, and you can easily load another SATA hard drive into the PC. About the fan noise, it's quieter than my roommate's OMEN and similar to my ThinkPad. If you are sensitive to noise, you can put the PC under your table or even more far away, it's easier to fix this problem than a laptop.

Cons
No dedicated GPU, so don't expect to be gaming. This device performed worse than my old i7 alienware pc from 2013. The only reason I can figure is my old machine has a dedicated 2GB video card. This mini pc only has integrated graphics, no GPU. Dedicated GPU makes a huge difference.
Loose screw and missing screw in the computer housing. I got the beelink mini pc today, I was very impressed with the packaging and the size of the computer, however when I opened it and was taking out the computer from the box, I heard something loose inside, after opening it to insert an ssd drive into it's compartment, I discovered a screw fell out of the housing, I noticed that there were two screws holding the mb and two screws missing, I then realized that one of the screws was missing and the loose screw was actually one from the mother board.... I quickly put the loose screw in place but that meant one screw was missing holding the MB... why should a brand new pc have loose screws in it? That changed my mind on this product and I really hope that I don't get any further surprises as I use this pc.....
Multiple units with bad fans. I have had very good luck with BeeLink units but this particular Model I have has two so far out of 4 units with bad processors fans right out of the box. We stock many of them at work and keep on the shelf for when we add a new employee or need to upgrade a work station so they are usually out of the return period when they are deployed. This last one was two days past the 30 days when we found the fan was bad. Luckily we were able to find a replacement fan but I doubt many have the tools or patience to replace them. Again we have had great luck with BeeLink units but it appears this model was not Quality Control checked very well.
Graphics Disaster - OK workstation. This thing is a beast.... that is until you try to watch something in HD on full screen - then it visibly starts struggling. I was under the impression the 680M graphics chip could handle HD at full screen and 15 yr old pc games moderately well but I was surprised it couldn't, will be returning.
I got a lemon. I started it up and it seemed ok at first. I was able to register and install the updates. I then installed Microsoft office sunset because yest, I still like that ancient program. That process seemed fine but before I got a chance to set up anything in that program the PC rebooted, and then got stuck in a boot loop until I unplugged it. A few minutes later I plugged it back in and it seemed fine. I set up my financial accounts and tried to check on my Hulu account only to have it crash and reboot and get stuck in another boot loop. When I plugged it in again I gave it the three fingered salute to monitor to processor. Without even starting Money or Edge the processor was maxing out, dipping to zero, maxing out, dipping... This lasted about ten minutes and the thing crashed again. After rebooting I uninstalled Money and had the PC reset to factory state. Tomorrow I'll take it to my local UPS store. I'm afraid to try another one so I didn't opt for an exchange. The specs for this PC sound good but the one I got was not a good experience.
Beelink is junk. My computer failed after a few months. The company did little to resolve. So I have a worthless piece of junk now.
