A great sun shelter for 4 people - ultra portable, 1 person 30 second set up, zips for FULL PRIVACY! I really love this WolfWise instant sun shelter. I'm not new to instant sun shelters, I currently own a Lightspeed Seaside quick shelter that I bought 3 years ago but my kids are now 6 years old and we needed a bigger one, so I got the WolfWise 4 person shelter. Highly recommended and I can see this fitting a family of 4 easily. (I attached pics showing the WolfWise 4 person instant sun shelter next to my smaller Lightspeed Seaside 2 person instant sun shelter for comparison in size and portability because I wanted to highlight how much more space you gained while keeping a similar packed size) Packed up, it's super portable and packs well in the car for taking to the park, beach, relative's house, etc. I was surprised that The WolfWise 4 person wasn't bigger than my Lightspeed 2 person when packed up. I was sceptical that getting a larger shelter would be bulky but this was not the case at all. It's quite light, even my 6 year old can carry it. I LOVE that the instructions are sewn in to the inside of the carry bag and that the bag unzips lengthwise and has properly sized carry handles. My Lightspeed 2 person also had instructions but the drawstring bag made it slightly harder to see and pack up. You won't need them after the first couple of times but if someone else is setting it up, this can truly take the guesswork out of it. The set up is super easy. I recommend watching the WolfWise video that shows how to set up and put away the shelter, the video is at the end after you scroll through all the product pictures. I do feel that some user videos over complicate things. The two things to pay attention to is a) straighten the legs before raising the canopy and stand "behind" the shelter when you pull it up to open, then make sure to lock it in place. It takes me about 30 seconds to set up, about a minute to pack away (since I like rolling them up nice and tight to make it easier to fit in the carry bag). A bonus surprise is that the floor flap doubles as a zippered privacy door, so you can change inside. I didn't see a single picture showing this and found it quite by accident when I noticed the double zipper in the front opening. The three mesh windows also zip up so you can leave it open for ventilation or closed for privacy or to block off sun. There's a hanging hook on the top and mesh storage pockets under each window as well as near the roof. There's 3 generous sand bags on the outside (you can fill it with sand if you set it up on the beach), I usually place the included tent stakes in one of the sand bags so they don't get misplaced or forgotten. There are also wind ropes but I typically get by with setting up stakes only as the mesh windows allow air to blow through and it stays in place as long as it is staked down. In conclusion, really a great sun shelter. No complaints with anything. I thought my Lightspeed 2 person from 3 years ago was amazing but this one is truly better and the details like a zippered carry bag vs drawstring, folding legs (to allow it to pack smaller), zippered front for privacy and the spring locking mechanism make this a great recommendation! Wife and kid(s) approved!
Perfect for relief from the heat! I am impressed! I remember as a kid being too hot in water or out and THIS was what I needed. HUGE temp difference of in sun to in tent! Very Easy to put up and take down. I pitched it in livingroom first, then outside my 7yr old put it up while i wasn't looking!! Privacy too for changing. Door/Opening and windows zip easily. It does get warm inside quickly with all entirely closed up. Do not zip children and pets in. Durability: On a beach in USA in Midwest I would throw a very lightweight inexpensive tarvek along in the bag. I opened and tried on sunny day on driveway. Twigs created holes in a couple places on bottom. Cons: Couple small defects with stitching, bottom won't stand up to much. Pros: Significant protection from heat, size, quality zippers, details like sandbags, storage under windows, storage net above, hook for lantern, padding on storage and EASE of set up and take down. Overall: I am satisfied with quality. Really creates a huge dif in temp! Size is impressive. Happy withthe purchase for pricepoint.
~ Super Easy Set-Up and Take-Down, Lightweight, Cross Breezes from Windows are Lovely ~. We have been wanting a beach tent for several years now. Came across this one and felt that the specs were just what we needed and the reviews are good. We are pleased with the quick and easy set-up and take-down. Love the handy carrying case and how lightweight this tent is. Happy that it is water-repellent material and absolutely LOVE the large mesh windows and the cross-breeze they offer. The little mesh storage bags under the windows are great for sunglasses, sunscreen, and a cooling lavender spritz bottle. It's nice to have the zip-up flap if needed for privacy, if needed. It's a nice bonus that a light or fan can be hung from the ceiling. We are able to get it back into the handy carrier after use with no problems. The carrying case easily fits into the back of our Jeep. Happy with this beach tent. We have just tried it in the yard a couple times, but look forward to the beach as the weather warms up AND it becomes safer to venture into possible crowds with the current Corona situation. Looking forward!!

Don't use it for the beach! And good luck with a warranty claim! Don't try to use it for the beach! Or at least don't expect it to be useable after you've done so. We took it with us for 4 days at the beach. When we got back home and I opened it up to clean out the sand, I found all the zippers corroded. They advertise this for beach use but don't use heavy duty plastic zippers to prevent salt water corrosion. I attempted to get the corrosion off and in the process broke 3 zippers. The company refuses to honor their supposed 2 year warranty. 👎 Look for another beach tent, don't bother with this one unless you want to throw it away after a week of use.
4 people? No way. The tent itself is fine. It's easy to pop up, seems to be good quality, and sort of easy to take down (practice will probably help). The stakes are not long enough for the beach. They're about 3 inches long and pop out of the sand with any strong breeze. You're going to need some that are longer, preferably ones with a spiral at the end. And bring a mallet to put those in the ground. My biggest complaint is with the size. I bought this because it's supposed to fit 4 people. I don't know if I got the wrong tent or what, but there is no way that 4 will fit comfortably for a day at the beach. Sure, if a rain storm came in, you could probably squeeze 4 people inside if you basically sat on top of each other, but it was just me and my husband and it was just enough room for both of us to sit comfortably. Maybe 4 kids? We had planned to take this on another trip next month with a 3rd person, but I'm thinking im just going to have to rent beach chairs instead.
Not for windy days…3 person max but easy setup! Two adults one child not teen comfortably fits FYI super easy setup. Not four adults or teens. Update third time using it now has some thinning/stressed marks. Super windy and no matter the stakes or sand or rope this thing keeps buckling/collapsing. It’s poles is not strong nor stay locked. So embarrassing I do not recommend!
