Pros & Cons

Pros

" Setup was quick and easy! The second night a crazy windstorm kicked up. Used this pop-up for the first time this weekend, as a camping "porta-potty." Setup was quick and easy! The second night a crazy windstorm kicked up, with sustained winds between 30-40mph and gusts to 60. As I lay in my trailer trying to sleep, I just new I would wake up to a bare spot where the pop-up was, and it would be enjoying it's new life in Kansas (I'm in Colorado). At first light I was shocked to look out the window and see it still in place, despite still being buffeted by the wind. I left it up all day through the sustained wind and it took it like a champ!

Easy-to-use and portability make this perfect! The media could not be loaded. This item rocks! I have two foster children ages 3 and 4 that I'm having a birthday party for and a couple of weeks and this will be the Tattoo Station :-)! This thing is way bigger than I thought which is great :-)! Honestly if you have children that cannot hold it this is perfect! Whether we are hiking camping or even traveling! We travel a lot and I cannot wait to put this to good use! I have uploaded a video so you can see how simple it is to assemble and fold back up. I have read various comments on how it was difficult to put up but we got it on our very first try. I did receive this item at a discount for my unbiased review. I can honestly say that I would buy this product either way. I can think of so many uses for it! I also must comment on the weight it is super super lightweight and easy to carry!

Dramatically improved the quality of our camping life. As a single mom, when my young child needs to use the toilet, I can't abandon my well setup kitchen and half-cut food on the picnic table in our campsite. This was a great solution! Was also great for cleaning ourselves and changing into clean clothes at the end of the day before we retire into our sleep tent. We use a bungee cord to hold the roll of toilet paper. I also put a bottle of sanitary towelettes (set on an empty box) in the tent. We use this with the Green Elephant toilet seat. I"m 5' and find that the door could be a little taller. But if it were taller, then it'd be more difficult for me to set up. I have a lot of practice with folding pop up tents like this but recall feeling great frustration when learning to fold my first pop up tent. Practice folding many times before you use it outdoors :)

Used as a greenhouse! I ordered this to protect my potted lemon tree from freezing temperatures. The available space wouldn't accommodate a pop-up greenhouse (and they are expensive). I racked my brain to come up with an alternative and looking under tents, I found this. It's been perfect; we installed a floodlight to keep the tree warm at night and this tent has weathered storms just fine (had to stake it out so it wouldn't blow over).

Love it! Wolfwise offers an upgraded version for $10.00 wit additional features of a rainfly, shadow hiding silver lining and a floor. I got the cheaper basic version yet is still a great product for the price. Mine is used as a camp shower. I purchased the signstek rechargeable battery shower for $31.00 along with this and hand stitched in a velcro Loop near the ceiling to secure the shower head in place making the hose length perfect for the small shower pump to sit at the bottom of the 5 gal bucket of tempered water for about twelve nice five-minute showers. Like many others I was frustrated learning to fold this tent but after watching the Wolfwise shower tent video (you tube) it made it very simple. After doing it 10 times I can easily fold it now in a matter of seconds. I suggest using the supplied tent Stakes not just for wind but it also helps stretch out the bottom nice and taut. Update... I have just finished a 5 day off the grid camping experience with my Singstek shower with this shower tent And it was a huge hit with the seven members of our I would like to Suggest the following for one purchase a propane burner similar to the ones use for deep frying turkey. They make small models for table top and a very large pot so you can quickly Heat 5 gallons of shower water In about 5 - 7 minutes and cut a piece of t-111 Siding the same dimensions as the bottom of the tent just like you find on many home Exteriors. It's great for a hard flat surface to stand on in the shower and it channels the water away.

Huge! I just recieved it and wow it is big!! Lol. It is very lightweight and it comes with stakes for the ground in its own carrying case. The carry bag is like a backpack with two straps. My kids are enjoying playing inside of it! The zippers that work both ways, from the outside and inside. You can also open another little "window" in the back to get some fresh air. There's a nice sized pocket on the inside. Two people can fit depending on body size. can't wait to use this when I go camping in a few weeks. I will write an update to see how it functioned!

Cons

Worked perfectly 3 times until it broke! This was an awesome item.. AT FIRST. I used this a weekend camping trip for easy changing (instead of crouching in a tent. We brought it to the beach for the same reason as well. Pops up easily and steaks Int the ground perfectly. It is a little difficult to make it tri.fold again to fit into the little circle bag it comes with. After 3 total issues (apx 30 min total use of the tent) the bottom stitching became unraveled and the metal poles poked out and what ever the metal tubular peice that was holding them together to make one loop fell off from where the hole was at. Rendering the product unusable and completely unfoldable! Not happy I wasted money on a product I thought I could at least get a full summer or two out of ... I got 3 uses. If dirt and sand effected this products structure then they need to make it stronger. No reason this tent should have ripped. Unfurnatly I was past the "return" window so now I'm stuck trying to fix it and see if it's even possible.to be used for next season. $30+ is a lot to just throw out on camping gear! 1 stars because it's a good product idea but it's not strong enough. 3 gentle issues and proper storage of thos product is utterly ridiculous for it to break . I'd buy it again if it was made of stronger material!

Pop up, where's the shower? It's called a Shower Tent, but it has no provision for a shower. Where do you hang a shower head? There is absolutely NOTHING inside to allow hanging of any type of portable shower head, wand, etc. and no place to route one from the outside to the inside. I took it camping, and had the unpleasant surprise of finding this out the hard way. I ended up rigging up a makeshift support with poles and string. The inside roof is smooth, no hooks, no loops. If you use this for showering, you basically have to use one hand to hold your showerhead, and one hand to wash. It works as a changing room if you are smaller. Would be great for kids and smaller adults. Big guys - well, it can be done, but there's not much room. Deployment is fast - it just pops open. It's also quick to fold; once you get the hang of it, you can put it away in 30 seconds. It's sturdy, but needs to be staked down if there's *any* breeze, simply because it is tall and thin. Not any type of design flaw, just a result of the shape and weight. The zipper operates smoothly. The vent window is functional, and still gives privacy. The accessory pouch inside has ample room for smaller bottles of shampoo, or a razor, your phone, etc. There is a "clothsline" to hang clothes, towel, etc. It's basically an elastic strap. It will hold a *small* towel, or lighter clothes. It won't hold a larger towel, or a damp towel, or jeans, etc. because it is weak. It is also located where any shower use will likely soak whatever is hanging on it. I'm 6-1, and I my head touches the top. The pyramid shape makes it nearly impossible to shower standing up. My other family members who are 5-5 or smaller fit pretty well. This should be called Tall Skinny Tent, because that's really all it is.

See-through. Fulfills it's purpose. The only downside is that it's see through. You can see the shadow of whoever's in it and can see what they're doing. A little awkward during a family and friend camping trip when used for showering...

GREAT Idea. First, I love the product itself; my 90-year-old mom didn't want to have to stop to use the rest area bathrooms during the COVID mess, so I bought this to use as a portable outhouse over our porta-potty that we use when going camping. It was perfect for that. I didn't find it terribly see-through, as I worried it might be; I didn't feel as if I was putting on a shadow show for everyone around. And setting it up was relatively easy. One simple improvement that could be made would be for it to have a strap across the floor that you could step on to hold it down when the wind picks up. Folding it up and wrestling it back into the carry bag is quite another issue! I consider myself a fairly strong middle-aged woman, but I'm not match for this bugger. I followed the instructions, as well as I could. I folded it in half lengthwise and then doubled it over so the roof peak touched the bottom, and that's where it ended. While I was trying to twist the one portion inside the fold, something else would spring loose. And I just wasn't tall enough or strong enough, evidently, to hold it in place while I re-rolled it into a circle to fit in the bag. I gave up, used the strap to hold it together enough that it would lie flat in my van. My much younger sister tried it, as well, with the same result. It is just too much for a woman to handle alone. If it came with clips that held the folded parts together while you were trying to swivel the other parts into a donut, it might help.

Learn to fold it up before you go anywhere with it. Overall, this tent is quality and works great, but the catch is that there's only one way to fold it up and get it back in the bag. I couldn't figure it out from reading the directions and looking at the pictures, and after trying awhile (because I'm old school enough to feel that written directions attached to the bag should be enough to figure something out) I had to scan the QR code and watch the video to see how it's done. I wouldn't have given it a three star review over that because it might have just been my own incompetence, but then my husband tried to fold it up, and couldn't figure it out either. Since he never uses QR codes, he didn't know he could scan it with the camera on his phone, and was didn't want to download an app for it at that specific moment, and there was no link to the type in to watch the video. As he was trying to fold it up, it shot out of his arms, hit the ceiling, and busted the light in our garage. He never did get it back in the bag. I had to watch the video again to remember how. So my issue with this is that once I realized it wasn't just me that had a hard time with the folding directions, I realized it doesn't make much sense to have the only workable directions for a camping supply require a smartphone with data and an internet connection. Let's say we were out camping without an outhouse (which why we bought the thing - to cover the Luggable Loo we got for wilderness camping with our family), it's entirely possible we might be somewhere without reception at all, and if we hadn't of tried it out at home first, not able to get it back in the bag when we packed the car to go home. So what would I like to change about it? First, the video is a full 3 minute product review, and I only needed 20 seconds to see how to fold it up. It would be great if the direction video was just the directions. Second, if the written directions made more sense, it wouldn't be necessary to watch the video in the first place. Third, sure, QR codes are great technology, but not everyone uses them often enough to know how to scan them on their phone. Finally, while it's great that it folds so compactly, it's practically a secret code you have to know to get it back in the bag. If you don't know the code, it's NOT going back in that bag. If you do order one, watch the video and then take it outside and practice folding up a few times before traveling with it, especially if you're going where you might not be able to watch YouTube.

Flimsy. The media could not be loaded. This thing is totally worthless in the least little bit of wind it folds on you
