Pros
Bright, Awesome, but has a few flaws. I am giving this 5 starts but I do want to talk about a few opportunities with this. I bought the purple 360. I do not have the 36 to compare to. The color is more of a pink color up close. To viewers that are 50+ yards away see it as a light purple. Brightness levels do not affect this. I love the settings on the brightness levels and the timers. Both versions should have this feature though even though they do not. Shame. In this case you get what you pay for. The max brightness level after a full charge doesn't last long. Maybe 5-10 minutes before it starts to automatically dim itself down to the next level. Eventually it will Dim down to low setting and then flash when batter is to low. Honestly at night this wasnt an issue. At pitch dark the low setting was plenty. It is bright like others stated. We had at least an hour of play time before this was dead dead. We did start out on max brightness. So your mileage will vary. I can see it lasting much longer if you start out at a lower brightness setting and a shorter timer. Our timer was set to 30s. I did drop it to 8s. We had this at the beach. It flew very well with the wind, the weight was great and it did hit to Ocean Water a few times with no issues. We were quick to grab it though. Charge time was about an hour. Comes with a very very very short USB-C (Nice!) to USB-C Cable. I wish it was longer. The frisbee hangs off of the cable off of the wall outlet. Not the greatest but I dont see why you couldnt use a different cable if you have it. For the cost though it should be longer. At night the settings were easy to see with a little green light next to the setting. Easy to press the buttons. We found every now and then we would accidently push one of the buttons. Here is what I would like to see improve. On the edges you see all of the LEDs. This is cool but why not on the rim put a diffuse layer and sub multiple colors of LEDs. The diffuser ring would then carry the color better. A RGB version of this would be sick. I would also like to see a bigger battery in this thing. Figure how to distribute the weight and double down on the battery. Add the same settings to the 36 version one in regards to the timer if haven't already. Lastly, I see the responses but continue to work on a RGB version. There are so many out there. This thing would be sick if it was. So to round this up... Is it worth the money? That depends on your application and what you need it for. It held up great with 4 people throwing it in sand and salt water. Bright and easy to see at night. Flies very well. Seems very strong. If you are going to use this on occasion then do not spend the money on this. Get one of the glow in the dark brands with the RGB. They are not as bright and durable, but really cool at night and they fly well. If you are an avid frisbee player / ultimate frisbee player I think you will enjoy this.
IMPROVED? & Perfect!! This disc is very good quality and flies amazing. Pros: Bright LEDs that look awesome in flight. Well balanced and weighted. Slight rubberized edge for grip. Very well integrated electronics. Cool design. I need another. Ex-Cons: After reading the other reviews, the previous Cons must have been fixed! Although it does not have a continuous ON feature, after the LEDs turn off (2-3 seconds), it flashes every 3-4 seconds so you can find it in the dark. I think that is perfect in order to still see it when it hits the ground but still save battery life. Also someone mentioned having to take the screws out to charge. I started to do that then realized the piece that covers the USB-C charge port is flexible. Pulls right out and hinges back so you can charge it up without taking screws out. Lastly battery life. First day I got it, we threw in the dark for just over 45 min. with no indication it was going to die. I did notice that after about a half hour I couldn't choose the max bright setting. Probably by design as the battery depletes. I'm not sure If I just noticed these features or if they were improvements made to the product recently but they are there. (36 LED Version at least) Improvements: Only thing I can think of is an option to purchase in a package that includes LED arm bands and LED pucks for seeing each other and end zones in low light.
Pure fun. First of all, the company making these has a fabulous and fast customer service. I bought a disc and it had a fault and they replaced and upgraded it without question and were very pleasant about it. So I tried both the 36 and 360 version and I recommend the latter. The only downside of these discs is that they contain a lot of microelectronics which suffer from impact so the disc can go confused and stop performing as needed (mine started shutting off mid flight). The flight of the disc is very smooth considering there is a battery in the middle, grip is great, shape and weight perfect. The red LED lights are pure joy, I call mine Darth Vader as when I'm coming from around a corner it looks like I'm carrying a lightsabre. First time you see the disc fly, it feels like you are in the future where spaceships are a reality. It is super cool and attracts a big audience whenever used. It is a great fun item for anyone who likes disc sports and plays in the dark. Battery lasts for a good amount of time, enough for a game, and the disc is clever, and turns down the brightness to preserve power as needed. Very well visible even on lower brightness settings. Great as a gift in my opinion.
Heck yeah! It's expensive for a frisbee, but it's freaking awesome and totally worth it. I've played ultimate frisbee with it only twice so far, but it has been perfect. Both times we played the battery lasted longer than we could play (casual play). The lights are a thousand times brighter than the other light up frisbees that I've played with. It's also held up well to some harsh treatment so far. Definitely would recommend.
Beautiful at night! I purchased this as a gift for friends who I play frisbee with every Friday night. It makes it so much easier to see and we look very futuristic playing with it (someone asked if it was a drone ah haha). The weight is just like that of a classic frisbee. Received damaged. The media could not be loaded. I received it today, shipping was quick, but the package looked as if someone had already opened it. So then I opened it and charged it for an hour. It doesn't function past the dim mode even after charging it for an hour. I'll change my review after I hear back from the seller if they fix the problem. *** Update*** So far customer service has been good. They said that they believed I received a damaged one and would send me a new one. After I receive the new one and it works I’ll update again. **** Update*** received the new frisbee today. I checked it out and everything appears to be working perfectly! The customer service was excellent and fast! Thank you!

Very good frisbee. But why is it black? If you close your eyes, this frisbee feels great in your hands. I feel like I can huck this frisbee 100 yards. The flick feels great too. But I wonder about the mindset of the person at Tosy who made the decision to paint this frisbee BLACK. Wouldn't it make more sense to color it white or neon yellow? Like every other professional disc? I can't convince my pickup group to play with this frisbee in the pre-dawn evening hours because it's too dark to see. The only time this frisbee can be used is when it's pitched black darkness.... by that time, everybody has gone to eat. If this frisbee was the traditional white color, I'd get hundreds of these.
Battery doesn't last long. The battery only lasts for about 25min on the middle setting. So if you want to play a full game at night, you might need 3 or 4 of them.
It only lights up when in motion. Very cool. But also very overpriced. The Frisbee is much fun to throw around at night with friends. The battery dies fairly quick. But that is to be expected. I could see this costing around $30 bucks. But for the price, I would not buy again.
Was awesome for a few hours. This worked great for a few days. Picked it up and it seems to not work. The power indicator was yellow. Changed it fully and it will not work now on any setting. First off it's very bright (36 light, red), flys well (long time serious ultimate player)- shape is a bit tough for good forehand throws especially if you have small hands. The bad. In night time ultimate the frisbee disappears if it's not flying. Simply stupid. Has lots of settings for useless functions that do not work on the one I received. A waste of money. Oh yeah, want to charge it? Hope you have a tiny phillips head screw driver (like eye glass size), seriously? Two screws to plug a USB charger.
