Pros
Add a Bench and Dumbbells for a Nice Mini Home Gym. For the price, it is very sturdy compared with what I was seeing in sporting goods stores - I think the triangular legs make a big difference. I found relatively little movement while doing pull ups, dips and leg lifts. It's narrow and can fit in small spaces with a footprint just over 2' x 4'. One drawback - if you like wide handles for pull ups, this bar is very narrow at only about 30" across. Fortunately for me, I prefer using the close parallel grips. As others have noted, adjusting the back rest is unnecessarily (but not too) difficult because it is held in place with a hand screw instead of a simple pin. The back rest needs to be removed to really move around while using the pull up bar. I paid for Amazon installation and it took a person with power tools a full hour to put it together, so be the judge of your own skills. It has enough open space to put a weight bench and do dumbbell flies, so it makes for a very compact mini home gym that combines the benefits of free weights and suspension exercises for a great overall workout. I give it five stars for the sub-200 dollar price point.
Good for the price. So to start off the weight rating may be a little off. I am 6'3" 330Lbs, I do use this daily for dips and leg raises. It claims rated for 440Lbs but I wouldn't trust adding more than 40Lbs to a weight belt when doing dips as I can feel the tower flexing under just my body weight. Also 2 angled crossbars at the bottom would help significantly with stability as far as side to side movement. Overall for the money it is sufficient for what I wanted.
You had one job…. Not only did I get a sweet tower, but a good laugh too to share with everyone. I can’t imagine how a big box got to a seller with a big logo saying “PWOER TOWER” and wasn’t caught, but it even made it to a customer like that… YOU HAD ONE JOB! I went with the upgraded model for the different variations of pull up and push up grips, no regrets. It’s sturdy and not an aluminum pop can like the rest of the towers. My only complaint is that one of the push up bars doesn’t have padding. I have feminine hands man, come on!!!
Satisfied. Pretty excited to be using this. Seems pretty sturdy (Just under 160 lbs). I’ve done a variety of workouts, so far. Arm rests and the angle do come in handy. Bench hasn’t given me a good comparison of a pump until now. Assembly was a bit of a workout, but it’s a thrill to use.

Guy in photo is small. Overall, I am glad I purchased this pull up station. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: It's well built. The steel is a good gauge and the engineering seems solid. I don't foresee it bending or breaking, even with a big person using it. It's stabile. It doesn't have any discernable rocking or movement when properly using it. It does move some when my son does a "jump pull up" (he's not strong enough yet to do a proper pull up), but the movement isn't enough for any concern. Adjusting the pullup height is pretty easy and quick to do. So if you have people of different height using it, it doesn't take long to adjust. The ergonomics for the arms and pads for doing ab exercises are really nice. It's a good looking device for what it is. Cons: It's not as wide as it appears with the miniature human standing next to it. I think it should be a few inches wider with adjustments allowing for the dip/ab arms to move in and out. This causes the pushup hands at the base and the inside pullup handles to be too narrow (by just a bit). The back pad support is hard to adjust because you have to have the hole perfectly centered to screw down the holding pin. The back support should be able to move further back, because I keep bumping into it whenever I do pullups, even at the furthest back position. And due to the difficulty adjusting that pad, it's kind of a pain when you want to then bump it forward for abs. The assembly instructions could be a little better in regards to the short diagonal brace. You need to have the left left and the right right, but it's not clear which is which at first. My cons are very picking minor things that most people may not even notice, but they are enough to keep me from giving it 5 stars. Remember, 4 stars is better than average and 5 stars is just about perfect. I still recommend this unit, and if I could go back in time, I'd buy it again.
Cons
Ok'ish "pwoer" tower. Overall, it was not bad to install. The instructions leave a lot to be desired in terms of determine which screws and washers to use where, but through the practice of elimination the job got done, though I do have 6 extra curved washers. When I use the tricep bars there is a distinct movement & noise that I cannot figure out how to tighten down, it happens near the top of the diagonal braces. I don't dare tighten things too much because the steel will collapse if over-tightened, that's not a knock on this product, it's true of all of them. I have a few complaints: the back rest is tiny, the foam hand grips are practically non-existent, and the pushup and diagonal braces prevent you from doing oblique abdominal exercises (movements to the sides). Looking at the product photo in hindsight, it should have been an obvious criteria to avoid a power tower that uses that style of bracing. I have used tons of power towers that were sturdy and didn't require bracing like that which blocked your movements so I didn't even think of it while shopping for one.
It's helped my workouts but not quite getting 100% out of it. I chose this over the companies other option since it seemed more stable. While I believe it probably is more stable it flexes a lot. On a stable bar I'm able to do a muscle up but on this my muscles are focused on stabilizing that I'm unable to. And with dips while I can complete my sets, as I'm going down my arms get shaky and the whole thing vibrates. For reference I'm 185 pounds. 3 stars, I'm still able to do my workouts, albeit with more caution.
Tricky to set up, could be a little bit more stable. This is an okay power tower it’s kind of flimsy in person. It is a little bit more slim (width wise) than it looks in pictures. Instructions are a little bit tricky to follow. If you are following the pictures in the instruction booklet, it doesn’t show that all the curved bolt connections will require a curved washer on both ends of the bolt (the drawings only show one washer see picture 1). Not shown in the listing but the hand grips for the pull up bar actually connects to the back bar and there is a little piece of the rod sticking though the back bar (see picture 3). This is a plus as it is more sturdy than just being held together by a welded connection. A couple of possible design flaws: The cross bar by the push-up bars could be a potential trip hazard. See picture 2. The arm rest connection to the rest of the frame easily flexes when you shake it as it is welded to the frame, there are no bolt connections here. This could possibly break off over time but only time will tell. See picture 4.
Arrived completely mangled :-(. When this product arrived, the box was in very bad shape. Some of the bars were dented and bent and some of the hardware was missing. Luckily, my husband is handy and was able to fix the pieces that were less than perfect and he was able to find substitutes for the missing hardware. This product is what we expected and it is functioning as it should. Unfortunately, it just took almost three times the amount of time to put it together!
Solid and light but the pull up bar is useless. Overall I like most aspects of the rack with the exception of the pull up bar. First, the placement of the hands are not well placed. Particularly the inner hand option. They are too close to each other. The outside hand rubbers are functional. The other issue is that the bar is too far into the rack not giving you much room say to hang extra weight from your waste. And you have to make sure the back rest is all the way off or to back in order to freely pull up and down.
Cheap and not designed for Men. First, this is more made in China cheap steel with weak soldering. Counting down the days until something breaks. Also, the width of the chassis is for a woman’s frame or for smaller humans, in general. I’m 5’9” 170 LBs with a muscular build and the width of the chassis is too small to comfortably do dips or pull ups. My Chest rubs against the back rest when doing pull ups, even when the back rest is fully back. If you have a wider upper body, you’re not going to be happy with this. Just my experience.
