Pros

Great inflatable pad for emergencies or car camping. I got a couple of these for a “glamping” event, and was most drawn to the fact that it can be snapped together (for couple camping), that it is relatively large, and that it was advertised as 14oz. I’m a seasoned backpacker so the fact that it is larger than my very expensive pad, has a foot pump, a built in pillow, and being the exact same weight had me incredibly curious about this pad. Well, not quite the dream scenario. This is much larger rolled up than my other pads. Looking at the comparison photo, from left to right is a $130 Nemo Tensor 20” insulated pad 14oz, a $50 Static V 18oz, and the Wannts pad. The Wannts is obviously much larger than the other 2. The reason it doesn’t pack down any smaller is because the foot pump cannot be folded so you essentially wrap the pad around the massive foot pump. (It’s also the largest pad I’ve ever seen at 77 inches inflated) The other issue is that I did not believe this was 14oz (the description says both 14oz and 600g - which is 21 oz) so I threw it on my scale and it’s 28oz, so double the advertisement. Ok so this thing is not really competing with traditional backpacking equipment, so why did I give it 5 stars? Because this pad is great for what it is. For under $30, this is a really solid pad for emergencies, car camping, a backup pad, or a scout / kid pad. There’s 2 philosophies on equipment, “buy once cry once” and “buy cheap, if you wear it out buy expensive”. If you’re in the second camp this is a really great pad. Blows up in just a few breaths, the 1 way nozzle makes it simple to get exactly the firmness you want and deflates in seconds. Just a personal opinion, and I didn’t mark it down any because it’s just my opinion, but this would be a 6 star pad if they got rid of the food pump. But that could be a plus for a new hiker or glamper. Its large size could make it a more comfortable transition too. Overall, it’s not replacing any gear in anyones backpack, but it’s a great starter or backup. Since I got it for glamping with people who don’t camp, that’s how I reviewed it since I didn’t think it would be fair to compare it to gear it’s not directly competing with.

The perfect pad. I'm 6,0 and I fit on this pad easily with plenty more room to spare , it took me about 25 breaths to fully inflate . I weigh 240 pounds and this pad was extremely comfortable , I didnt bottom out and feel the ground once and I was able to comfortably sleep on my side . I used it for 2 nights and it held air just fine . The price on this is a steal , I'm gonna be buying another for my day pack and it's super light weight, my old sleeping pad that I gave away was around 3 pounds a little over I think .This is a way better option because of how compact it is , the built in pillow is also really comfortable. All in all I highly recommend this pad . It's easy to fill up and easy to put away , comfortable, lightweight, good for y'all people and the price is right . Buy with confidence! The grandkids really like this mattress. The review of this mattress is made by a Ph.D. and two boys aged 8 and 12. The Ph.D. couldn’t get it inflated because he got lost trying to decipher the directions that were either machine-translated or written by someone for whom English was not a native language, while staring at accompanying tiny explanatory photographs. The boys, on the other hand, looked at it a moment and quickly inflated it. So ignore the included shipped directions and follow this review to inflate. 1. Note that the mattress has two valves (photo 1), the pump valve on the top side (which only lets air enter) and the exit valve on the reverse side (which only lets air escape). 2. To inflate, be sure the exit valve is plugged before starting. Make full gentle strokes onto the pump valve with your foot until it is inflated. It is not necessary for the foot to seal the top of the pump valve when pumping (photo 2). 3. To deflate and store, open the exit valve and smooth down the mattress. Stretch out the mattress lengthwise and fold it into thirds, leaving the pump side up (photo 3). Starting from the pump end, roll up the mattress tightly which will then easily slide into the provided carrying bag (photos 4, 5 and 6). I asked the boys for their ratings. They gave it a 4/5 for ease of inflation, 5/5 for ease of deflation and storage, and either a 4/5 or a 5/5 for comfort (the boys disagreed). I decided to rate the mattress 5/5 based on where I found it a few hours later--photo 7 shows that the younger had appropriated the mattress and turned it into a new favorite reading station.

Scout's mom approved. As my scout started going on campouts, I am looking at camping gear. This thing is a definite must-have - I didn't even know they existed. Foot pump works like a charm (can be also a hand-pump with "clapping" or CPR moves). Longer than 75" in the description - see on the photo it is folded in two. Probably 8 ft? Anyways, it is long enough to be comfortable, and can easily bend at the end to fit in any space. I tested myself on a tile floor, it is surprisingly soft with the pillow just right. There are fasteners on the sides, so you cam link together indefinite number of these. Took me a little while to figure out how to deflate - you need to do it through the pillow, not the other side, so everything worked well in the end. Holds through the night well, additional peace of mind for a scout's mom who have never camped herself.

Better than expected. Ordered this for our bug out bag but my 16 yr old son (the guy hiding his face under the blanket lol) wants to take it camping. Last night he decided to give it a try out in the livingroom and it stayed inflated and comfortable throughout the duration of the night. My niece just asked me if she can borrow for a slumber party. So many more uses than I originally thought of. We did have a bit if trouble fitting it back into the bag just right (as in picture i submitted). It didn't fit as perfectly as it was when we received it, but it did fit. I think practice will make perfect. The price was great for the quality of the product and we are very pleased and definitely recommend. Will be ordering another.

Nice inflatable sleeping pad that is comfortable, compact and lightweight. Sleeping pad inflates with built-in manual pump and large air valve. It has a second smaller dual function air valve on opposite end for fast deflating or inflating by blowing into it. The air pockets keep you off the ground when laying completely flat and applying even pressure on the mat. The large pillow is firm and provides a nice angle for resting your head slightly up and forward. There is no separate air compartment to adjust or lower the pillow angle as the mat is one complete air chamber. I'm more of a side sleeper and with the mat flipped over, I found the smaller pillow on the opposite end to be more comfortable since it has a lower head angle. When sitting on it, I noticed it bottoms out slightly which is to be expected. The nylon material seems durable and the pump and valve design appears to be well made. Overall I think the sleeping pad is a good value and suitable for tent camping or guest sleepovers on the floor. I'm six feet and it felt like a good fit for me. It deflates and packs easily. I hand washed it with mild soap and water after initial use and it dried quickly.

Cons

Awful. I was so excited by how compact this is. Upon opening it, I realized why it was so small. This thing is an overpriced pool float. Honestly I have a better float in my pool right now. I don’t understand all the good reviews. It’s probably fine for kids but don’t waste your money for an adult using it.

Poor quality & uncomfortable but great costume pants? I am not impressed with this and can't fathom the glowing reviews. The other reviews seem to be using a different pad than I received, or they had such a bad night of sleep on this, they are hallucinating from sleep deprivation. First off, note the width. Now if you sleep like a statue, and don't move, you may have better luck than I did. I should have caught that and I am not a huge guy. Fortunately, due to its narrow width and too light construction, when you can't sleep, and you are muttering under your breath that you bought a budget sleeping pad that is awful, it is super easy to roll off of it and kick it out of the tent in disgust. First night, it lost air. I reinflated it, and it kept enough to barely qualify as a low rent sleeping surface. This however, is not ANYWHERE close to the quality it should be. The material is "plasticy." It is noisy. The air seal fittings are questionable. If I COULD tolerate sleeping on it, I would not want to go camping with this as my only option as I have fears it will not hold up to regular use. The comfort level is appalling. Imagine taking partially deflated packing air bags and stuffing them into a child's Halloween costume legs. Then, lay on it. If that suits your needs, then I guess you are the target demographic for this. I am not. I can't decide if I want to give this to one of the local homeless people that man our local interstate exits or let my dog sleep on it. I fear my dog will bite me during the night from the torture I have forced upon him and the homeless would prefer their existing more comfortable arrangements. I am leaning on taking scissors to it and constructing a pair of Halo master chief pants for one of the kids on the street for their next battle. Hard pass people. Hard pass.

Great pump, pillow is not comfortable. The pump is ingenious and it seems durable. I do not like the pillow though, that is not something I would sleep on because it pushes my head forward. I would have given it four stars but I received a letter from the seller promising a gift card if I gave them a five star review. No amount of money will cause me to say something that I cannot truly believe myself, hence the two stars. I'm not impressed with the integrity of this company. I sent the pad back.

It's alright. Bought this for a 3 day camping trip. It was easy to inflate out of the bag. I would recommend for hiking trips and backpacking. If you are camping, bring something a little more bulky and supportive like an air mattress. Night 1 - I must not have gotten the plug back in well enough - I had to reinflate around 4 AM. Night 2 - Slept well. Was a little low in the morning but I wasn't on the ground. Night 3 - Added as much air as possible and slept well all night. Notes: I am 6'3" and around 220 lbs. I am a side sleeper. Pros: Light, easy to deflate and repack in the bag. Patch kit included. Cons: Side sleepers will notice your hips touching the ground if a little under inflated. I would buy again for backpacking or hiking.

Junk - don’t buy. This product had great reviews, but I found out why, they sent me a letter after the purchase offering a $20 Amazon Gift card for a 5 star review. The pad is lightweight and blows up fairly easily. If you lay flat on your back, it’s ok. If you turn on your side, out your elbow down, or sit on it, it’s pretty much worthless. You’d have to put two of these together, one on top of the other to get any comfort. Not a fan. Sent mine back.

Comfortable & Impressive! I’m totally impressed on how comfortable this sleeping pad is. Yeah, when I was getting down on the hard floor to it, it didn’t feel very comfortable at all. However when I laid there, I couldn’t even tell I was laying on a hard floor. The only thing that would be a little bitter is if it was just a few more inches wider. Length, was perfect!
