best machine for hardcore cardio. assault bike is simply the way to go if you want to shed extra pounds quickly! It also makes a great warm up first thing in the AM
A real surprise, awesome air bike. As others have, I took a real chance on this air bike (this is my 4th bike in 30 yrs of exercising) because of the lack of information/reviews. What pushed me over the edge versus buying the Assault bike or the Rogue Echo (both excellent but out of my price range) was a flash sale and a coupon that made my total purchase with tax at $600 (several hundred dollars less than the aforementioned bikes). Also, several Amazon reviews were very favorable. It was reported to be well built and handled hard riding well. It is now up and running and it is a very stout bike. It weighs almost 120 lbs and as I assembled each part I was impressed with the quality and "heftiness". That being said, I found a couple of major (to me) issues. First, the manual is very lacking in needed details. Putting the bike together was pretty much straight forward, using the electronic display was a nightmare. There are 5 large pages of gibberish on how to use the basic unit and the several workout programs. It is not intuitive at all. While the bike is great, back to the issues. First, the manual does not have any contact information on Leikefitness. Not phone or email contact. I went on line and still could not get the information. Called Amazon and they showed me a way to get around that. It was not straight forward. Next, there is no way to register the bike for warranty purposes. Also, if a problem arises, there is no 800 number to call for resolution. The bottom line is I would not hesitate to recommend the bike. I will survive the above issues, but, why don't they make it easire?
Cons
Poor quality. I was dooped into this Chinese junk by the relative low cost but should have known better. The pros: cost and quick delivery. The Cons. Poor weld quality. Assembly and use instructions are a joke. Tools supplied for assembly are too large and easily slip off and mar surfaces, have some band aids handy. Hot glue used to hold speed sensor and wires. Paint is less than store bought spray paint quality and already peeling off multiple places. Right side pedal will not thread all the way in, no matter how hard I try. Fan cage mounts are not secured. Fan cage is bent in multiple places and off center. Seat post plastic guide pulls up/out when you try to adjust the seat and needed to be glued in place. If it weren't such a hassle to return, I'd get something else.
Be Cautious. Only had bike 1 day and 2 pieces are already broken. Looks nice, cheaply made. Be cautious. Hard to return given box was 160#s.
Avoid this. Cracked metal, bent metal, and missing some screws... Returned.
