Great Bike at an amazing price with awesome customer service! So much like others, I purchased this bike to replicate the peloton experience at a fraction of the cost. After reviewing many (MANY) bikes I landed on this one for the price point and the features it offered. It shipped quickly and arrived within 2 days of my order. Assembly took about 1 hour for me to do by myself but I can see it taking longer if you arent mechanically inclined. The bike itself is solid, it weight approx 100 pounds and feels very durable. The bill of materials are of high quality and I really have no complaints about the bike at this point. I have used it with the Peloton app to try my hand at spinning and I love it. If you buy a cadence monitor and heart rate monitor (Wahoo products work well) you can sync that information into the app for real time data while you ride in class. This bike has allowed me to test out the Peloton experience and I am currently loving it. My original plan was to use this as a stepping stone and potentially upgrade to the Peloton if I ended up liking the workouts. This bike is so nice I dont know if its worth the price to step up to the Peloton. I spoke to Julie about some replacement parts (for maintenance down the road) and the customer service I have received is top notch! I am 6'4" tall and 230 pounds and this bike fits me very well. All in all you cannot go wrong with the bike and I would feel confident that Joroto will stand behind the bike if you have any issues. I have included my breakdown on a pricing comparison to Peloton in case anyone is interested:
Good quality - Good Price - Best Value. I did extensive research on Bikes on line and in stores of Bikes in the price range of $170 to $2300 and I read hundreds of reviews and complaints by the purchasers. I visited 3 stores where I physically tried out the expensive bikes. I learned that magnetic resistance was important as far as maintenance and performance. This bike had all the features I was looking for and the price for a similar bike was $800 to $1400. I am pleased to find out that this bike holds up to all the other bikes that costs 2 to 3 times more. Great value and a good product. I am a 5'5" tall 68 year old women and the box was left on my front door by the postman. I dragged the box into my home past several rooms down a hallway into my bedroom and I assembled the bike within minutes by myself. Not complicated and easy to assemble. The seat is comfortable. I added a $7 adjustable cup holder to the wheel sidebar because I don't like the water bottles on the handlebars. The monitor for the stats does not light up so in a dark room you will not be able to see it. I put a mini flashlight in the cupholder area on the handle bars if I need to read the monitor.
Puts Peloton to shame.... I don’t even know where to start. This bike is absolutely fantastic. After researching, I knew I wanted the magnetic system. It’s so quiet, sturdy and easy to use. Looks great! I can easily put on a free class on youtube (see ya later Peloton subscription!!!) and go! I can do intervals on my phone, read a book or whatever. The price is fantastic! It’s like the peloton without the screen but it's truly not needed!! Highly recommend!

Beware! Let’s first say that I am a veteran cycling instructor so I know indoor cycling bikes. Because of Covid I have been unable to ride due to gym closures. So about a month ago I purchased this bike for home. A google search showed this bike as a great value, and the reviews showed relatively good reviews. It took about 3 weeks to arrive and assembly was easy. On my first ride I noticed a “thumping in the right pedal and a lot of squeaking. I notified them and they got back with me in a timely matter. They suggested that the main bolt could be too tight and to loosen it. It did not solve the issue. They then suggested that the problem was a circular tube INSIDE the crank. Would I mind if they sent me the tools so I could remove it! I have a buddy who is a mechanic so after much trouble he was able to remove the crank and the “bad” part and reassemble the bike. It was still thumping and creaking! At this point they are sending a replacement bike. But today I did some investigating about the creaking. I discovered a bad weld on the main seat post covered with a black sticker! It is a defective issue that they are hiding. This is NOT safe as the seat post could eventually break off! I am writing this review in the hopes no one else will buy this defective bike.
Discourage Purchase / Item should be removed - Design Flaw Causes Belt to Shred. I do not recommend buying this bike and I think Amazon should consider removing the product. I am on my second Joroto X2 and it appears to have a similar issue to the first X2. I have read a few other reviews that seem to indicate similar issues. I would not be surprised if within a few months there are more and more of the same complaints about a gritty noise, pieces of belt on the floor, and the belt being chewed up. The belt starts to shred within a few rides. The bike starts off whisper quiet but within a few rides you will notice a gritty sound. This is the belt being destroyed. Their will be little black flakes everywhere. Joroto is out of China. They will send you one email a night as they work while you are sleeping. They are nice but can only send you parts which take a while to ship. Amazon has been more productive and great to work with. My story - I purchased the bike. It was easy to setup. Worked great, the bike is comfortable, and was quiet in the beginning. I noticed a gritty noise building up so I investigated by removing the belt cover. That is when I saw my belt was damaged on one side. I reached out to Joroto support. They said I needed a new belt and they would send me one. I asked for instructions as I would need to do some disassembly of the bike... more than one would want to do for just purchasing a new bike. They sent me some videos they shot in the warehouse. 23 days later they shipped the belt. I received the belt 5 days after that. By that time, I had worked with Amazon to secure a replacement bike. It arrived. Easy setup etc... I took the belt cover off from the beginning. I am a few rides in and starting to notice signs of the belt wearing out on the side again and belt pieces on the floor. The gritty noise is coming back. I am going to investigate some more. It does not feel like this story is over yet. Make your own decision... Maybe the belt will last a long time even though it is being shredded? I would encourage you to buy a different bike if you want it to be a set it and forget it type thing. I wish I was focusing more on exercising and less on managing this situation.
Multiple defects and the best part is they tried to hide a big one! Bike has multiple issues. See attached pictures! Gouges and scratches in finish and crack along belt drive cover where a screw inserts. The best however was finding a black sticker the same color as the finish located in an area where the frame is welded. I removed the sticker to find it hiding a large hole where the weld was incomplete. Totally unacceptable. Of course this is after I had finished spending all my time unboxing and building the bike. Now I have to break down the bike and try to stick this obviously defective (nice try with the little black sticker) back into the packaging that I had to cut open to be able to get the bike out since it was stapled and wrapped in a ton of tape. How did this pass QC? Please note the belt drive cover is already attached when the bike arrives, so no it wasn't damaged from me tightening the screw.
