Pros
Reliable and perfect for a camping trip. We had a stove just like this one, but we lost it in a house fire, NOT RELATED TO THE STOVE. Lol! It happened to be in the garage with our camping gear when our electric meter burst into flames. Anyway! We loved this stove. We had it for 8 years proper to the fire. It worked very well for our needs, mainly boiling water, making coffee, and making breakfast in the mornings. It does tend to slide one slippery surfaces, so we added little rubber feet to the bottom to help keep it in place, but other than that, it’s a great camp stove. We never left to camp without it. 5/5 stars. So we bought it again because of how much we loved it. Can’t wait to break it in!!!
Great portable stove!! If you planing on camping a few times a year this is a must have!! You will enjoy what you cook on this stove is perfect the side flaps help reduce the wind that affect the burners and is so easy to clean too!!
Brilliant design. We are having our kitchen redone due to water damage. My bbq side burner would not vary the flame much. The Coleman is designed to cook extremely low flame, to very high flame. Simply yet smart design. Many applications.
Great for a couple people. This is a convenient and easy to use grill. Gets hot fast, easy to pack, and works good for cooking a couple things.
Car camping. Great for cooking at camp. Works just as expected. No complaints.
It works well, very basic. This stove does not have an igniter. It really should have one. It is high priced for it being so basic. The temperature control valves could be more accurate by giving us some estimated temp numbers instead of the ramp scale. I still find myself removing the pan to watch the flame when needing to adjust temperature. Sure would be nice to have a basic led light attached to the back lid when cooking.
Cons
Unexpectedly disappointing. This was purchased to be the main stove for a two week camping trip. I connected a 5ft hose and adapter so that it could use a 20# cylinder (the small bottles are inefficient and ridiculous). The stove was adequate. BUT... The knob must be turned well over a full rotation before the valve opened *at all*. It must then be rotated further to allow enough LP to ignite which made it very difficult to assess how much fuel is present. The only time the flame was visible enough to determine level of cook heat was in the dark. (Not that this is necessarily a bad thing; it means the flame was burning cleanly.) The stove seems a bit bulky for its size, if that makes sense. None of this was expected from a Coleman product, certainly as this is not the first Coleman two-burner I've had. Yes, the stove did the job. No, I would not recommend it to anyone else.
Arrived unusable - would not refund or replace! Careful with this one. Looked fine out of the box but once I hooked it up to the gas cylinder it would send gas to the burner. Maybe the regulator, maybe the inlet connection, who knows, the ports are small and I could not tell. I was shocked to not able to return or replace item by seller. I needed to escalate the problem through Amazon who then gave me a credit. Not the quality Coleman of years past. Will look for a better brand now.
Good stove. Everything about the stove is very good except for the latch, which is not particularly secure and always has me worried when I'm moving the stove around with the latch secured, or should I say not particularly secured. Otherwise a good stove and worth the money.
Item size and weight Incorrect - Not returnable. The dimensions given for this stove and the weight are incorrect. I thought it was a smaller stove than our present one. Turns out they are pretty much the same size. I wanted a smaller stove than was lighter weight. It is listed as 15.9"L and 7.8"W . It is 21"L and 12"W - the same size as my old one. It also says 5 pounds which would have been easier for me to manage - it is 7 pounds - just a little lighter than my old one. It cannot be returned.

Does the job. Update 2: After a couple of years the feed pipe isn't twisting off but it's getting increasingly hard to get the threads to start to screw the feed pipe on. I also have to disconnect the gas bottle after cooking as it will slowly drain between cooking sessions. I wish there was a better alternative than this. Not looking for super features just something reliable and with some longevity. Update 1: After awhile the brass pipe inside the stove that feeds the nipple that connects to the propane bottle twisted off simply by trying to screw the feed pipe on. Coleman replaced the stove for me. Nice gesture. Hopefully it will be better this time. After a 3400 mile trip it performed well. Takes awhile to heat water but it got the job done. Well made and simple design that should last.
