Simple, clean, easy to install. Simple, clean, easy to install. I’ve been looking for a basic flat, black, warm led light that wasn’t going to break the bank - and this worked perfectly! It’s very thin, evenly lit, and light weight which makes install very easy. Good to know: - This is European made, so wiring is brown/blue and there is no ground wire. After a quick google search, brown to black and blue to white (for US install), it hooked up with no issues. - The exposed portion of wiring on the fixture is VERY short so I had to strip a bit of the casing before being able to wire it up. - There is a small electrical “lightning bolt” symbol on the mounting bracket - this is where the light wiring should be lined up when mounting to the bracket or the light will not mount evenly. - The light warmth is easily adjusted before installing, the warm light matched perfectly to the other “warm” lighting around my house. - This is not a dimmable light. It’s definitely not a “conversation piece”. I purchased it to be non distracting since I have a large pendant light nearby. It’s a little on the small side (see dimensions) but puts off plenty of light. 4 stars - it’s totally worth it for the price, but the wiring was a little more labor intensive since the exposed portion came so short.
SO EASY TO INSTALL and SOOO PRETTY. Seriously the BEST purchase. They could not have been easier to install! The mounting ring that you screw into the socket fit perfectly, the light just twists into that, and it is done. You just click the little switch on the top for what temperature of light you want, so you can have cool, medium , or warm light, and it was so so easy. Seriously just one switch, and they probably took five minutes apiece to install. The best purchase!
Outstanding in every way.... I have probably installed over 100 ceiling light fixtures and fans over my many years. This has to be the best mounting system I have ever seen. A mounting plate that is pretty much universal for use on any style junction box. Connect two wires and twist the fixture to the plate. Could not be any simpler! All needed screws were supplied. As well as wire nuts, and even hardware to mount if you could not use a junction box. The adjustable warm to white switch selection is also a plus. I have set mine on Warm to match other LED fixtures in my home. This light is very bright. Please be aware that this light is NOT dimmable. I did not need a dimming feature for my application. This light is very low profile and really looks amazingly attractive for the price. I am happy with this light and hope it lasts for many years. Anyone should have no problem installing this nice looking light.
Cons
Lasted less than a year and is now a strobe light. Video Player is loading. Current Time 0:00 / Duration 0:11 : Stream Type Remaining Time - 0:11 For what I spent on this it was worthless. In less than a year it has now become a strobe light. All it does is flash on and off all day long. At first I thought it needed to warm up or something (although it never done this before) Nope.. it just flashes on and off for as long as you keep it on. Will never purchase again.
5 months later NOT Working. This ceiling light was installed in April and it now flickers instead of staying on. For an LED fixture it should last more than 6 months. I should get a replacement but have no way now of returning it or contacting the Seller.
Too bright for me. The light on this is so bright you can't even see the color ring around the light unless it is off. I think it is too bright for a bedroom. I personally despise LED lighting though, so that could be contributing to the issue. That being said, it is a nice large and flat light which is why I needed it.
