Pros
First one didn’t work, replacement is good. Ordered one and it always read 99 or 100%. This number should fluctuate more than that. Called Shark and they sent us a new one, but had me cut the cord of the one that wasn’t working. They must not be worth much if they didn’t want it returned. My husband re-wired the first one and we will still use it, the numbers don’t need to fluctuate for it to filter the air so it will be fine it just won’t sense the cleanliness of the air. The filters are pretty dirty after just a few weeks so I know they are doing something.
Amazing for allergies. I have been miserable the last week due to allergies. They have made it very difficult to get a good night's rest. I am using this product for the first time tonight and so far no allergy symptoms! No itchy eyes or sinus, no stuffy nose or sneezing! This is just what I needed living in Oregon where allergy season is aweful.
Helping with my allergies. I like it. It’s amazing that after I cook the fan kicks on and starts purifying. I can breathe better without the pollen in my place.
Works Great!! Easy to set up and use. Very easy to set up and use. Works great! I have bad allergies and usually get an upper respirstory tract infection at least a couple if times over the winter. Indidn't really change anything else but began thinking the other day thst it is already spring, and I haven't had a cold or upper resp infection since last fall. This unit works exactly as advertised and is a great well-made product.
Works well but is expensive for what you get. Its a good purifier and it works quite well but its fairly expensive for what you get. I have had other air purifiers in the past and this is comparable but the prices of those are typically lower. Not a bad option by any extent but for the price im not sure id get it.
AMAZING!! Since we got this filter in our bedroom we don’t take allergy pills! I can’t recommend them enough!! This has been life changing for everyone in my house, because we love animals but the allergies were getting to be too much!! If you are on the fence about it, don’t think twice!! Get it!!
Cons
Only works when cooking or drying hair. This is in my bedroom and literally only kicks on when I am cooking in my kitchen or drying my hair in my master. Doesn’t decrease dust or allergens at all.
Great for odors. This has been great for removing odors in the house when we cook.. It works so-so for dust. We have parrots and a dog that sheds so I was hopeful because that was the main feature i was hoping it would help with was the dust from them. I really don't notice a difference in reduction of that kind of dust just general dust in the house. I can't say I would recommend it for pet dust though.
