NEENCA better than Bauerfeind, Recommend. I had a knee surgery two years ago. At first everything was ok, but then the situation started to deteriorate, and I had to look for things that will support my knees. I used more than 3 Bauerfeind knee pads. The product is good, but as you can see, it is expensive. I later found NEENCA on Amazon. This is a pretty good idea. I tried their 051 series and 053 series of knee pads.(In fact there is no difference between the two） The conclusion is that Bauerfeind is a very good product, but overall, NEENCA has won. Bauerfeind: The most impressive thing is the excellent breathability, as well as a good brand image. Silicone pads are larger and thicker. The Bauerfeind seems to be more shaped while the NEENCA is heavier piece of long rectangular plastic. That said, there is no noticeable difference between the two while wearing and running. NEENCA: The NEENCA is slightly longer than the Bauerfeind (see pictures) which gives me the sense of better support and compression over a larger area. Patella gel pads surrounds the kneecap, double-sided metal spring stabilizers fit tightly with your knee joint. These special functional element strengthen side support and maintains joint stability. It effectively disperses pressure, keeping your knee warm, lubricating your joints. Conclusion-Given the huge price differential and that you can buy several NEENCA sleeves for the cost of one Bauerfeind sleeve coupled with negligible performance differences I recommend the NEENCA.（I hope my review can help you :)

Great fit for larger sizes! These are very supportive and do not disappoint. I bought two so I could wear them on both knees. I am 5'5" and weigh 300lbs. I recently started working out with a trainer doing many exercises including squats, deadlifts, pushups, and other exercises that quickly began to bother my knees. I needed something that would stabilize my knee but comfortable enough to wear during a workout. Because of my size, these knee braces were the only ones I could purchase. I'm so glad I did! They are easy to pull on but tight enough to stay up through a rigorous hour workout. I've included the highly unflattering pictures of the braces AFTER my workout to show how well they stayed up. My above knee measurement (right at the top of the brace) is 26.5". I highly recommend these to anyone regardless of size!

Grippers for us trippers. Feet up, knee braces on (I bought two) and I’m feeling so wonderful. I fractured my knee cap a couple weeks ago. The doctors brace was such a confusing mess, I ordered this brand and could be happier. I’m a chunky nana, short and stout so I ordered the XXL and the snug is perfect. There’s two grippers built in on each side so just flip down the top cuff and using each side grip, gently pull up until your knee cap is in the circle. Super easy and they stay put. I plan to hand wash and air dry to extend the life of elastic. I’m sure I’ll fall again so these two guys are my friends!

Very Comfortable - and great customer support. I purchased this knee brace because of knee pain I had when I went walking. I had tried the straps that fasten just below the knee but my knee pain gradually got worse. After looking through the selections on Amazon, I tried Neenca because it looked like it would be comfortable and didn't use straps. I like the fit and feel of the brace. It stays in place and does not slide down on my leg when I walk. And it is not as hot as the old neoprene knee brace I used to wear. I did have one issue - one of the side pieces in the brace was damaged during shipping (it arrived in a padded envelope from Amazon that looked like it had been folded). Their package came with a sheet indicating a customer service email address to send any comments to if you needed assistance. So, at 11:28 PM, I sent an email to them explaining the problem and asking how they could help me resolve the problem. At 11:46 PM, I got a response from customer service offering to send another knee brace for the one that was damaged. I sent them my order number and shipping address at 12:04 AM. At 2:22 AM, I received an email saying that the replacement order was on it's way. It's hard to beat a response time like that. I am a happy customer....

this brace is wonderfull. I have had 4 scopes done on my left knee and they can't do anymore. My knee is bone on bone and has been for 8 years now. I've heard bad things about knee replacements and some good. I choose at this time to NOT have it done. I've been using this brace now for a few days.... IT'S GREAT. on a 1-10 scale for pain it's about .5 - 1 ..... I don't show much of a gimp when walking with this brace on. I do have a metal sports brace that hurts to wear it more than 4 hrs. .... this brace is light weight and doesn't hurt at all .. the first day; I wore it for 10 hrs.. I RECOMMEND this brace.

Everything you need in a knee brace! I had knee surgery on my right knee 5 months ago and my left knee a year and a half ago. Since then, I've really struggled with stability and with knee pain. We just moved into a new house a month ago and I've really been struggling because the stairs are 8" instead of a standard 6. I just received this today and already noticed a HUGE difference in what I'm able to do. The pain just traversing the stairs is almost gone, let alone all other abilities. It was easier just getting up off the floor, and kneeling or squatting. In addition, I generally have an allergic reaction to most braces or support devices. Not even sweat bumps with this one!

Cons

Size Chart is not accurate. Do not use the measurements guidelines in the description if you’re short. I’m 5 feet tall and 115lbs, the description says to measure 5 inches up the thigh from the knee. I measured and the size chart said at 14” I would need a M. The M is so loose on my knee it’s totally pointless. I may as well wrap a bandana on my knee, that would provide more support.

Cannot Find any Patent Info or a Company called Neenca as Claimed on the Webpage. We purchased these based on the number of positive reviews and the seller's statement that the brace used technology that is under U.S. Patent. When Looking at other virtually identical knee braces sold by numerous other sellers we found no mention of a patent and we became concerned that this Neenca product was over-representing itself and possibly misleading buyers. Questions to the seller to provide information on the U.S. patent both here on Amazon and on Facebook have had no response. A search for a company called Neenca to ask them directly for information on the U.S. Patent found no company under that name or a website. Further a patent search using the U.S. Patents and Trademark Office found no hits using the name Neenca. If there is a response from Neenca I will update this review. If there was a patent, the patent number would be printed on the product and there is none.

Did not stay in place. First of all, I was reluctant to try this product out, as I have tried other knee sleeves in the past and have not had any luck with them staying in place; however, after reading the reviews on this item, I decided to give it a try. The product came on the promised delivery date which was nice. It looks and feels very nice (quality), NOT cheaply made. I thought I had ordered one PAIR of sleeves, as both of my knees are in poor shape but had only actually ordered one sleeve (my bad). However, I thought this presented an opportunity to try it on one knee to compare how it made my knee felt when compared to my "unsleeved" knee while walking. Before ordering I measured my thigh as instructed (3 times, to make sure I was getting a correct measurement) and ordered a XXX-large as indicated. When I put it on, it felt nice and snug, very secure. I then went for a walk with my dog. As I neared the end of my block, while I was trying to discern any difference between my sleeved knee and my "unsleeved" knee, I became aware of one thing--the sleeve was sliding down my leg, over the knee just as previous sleeves had done. I stopped and readjusted the sleeve back up, but when I resumed my walk, it started sliding down again. I readjusted a third time and it slid down again, even quicker than before. Consequently, I have to give it just one star (for quick delivery and for what appears to be a quality-made product). If other people use these without the sliding problem, more power to them. For me, it was just a repeat of my previous sleeve experiences - the sleeve not staying in place, sliding down over the knee and down to the bottom of my leg.

Rolling makes dangerous blood clot causing tourniquet. I have severe arthritis in all my joints my knees being most problematic and making it difficult to traverse the stairs in my home or get up and down on the floor to play with my one year old grandson I keep overnight to nights a week. I bought these braces thinking they would help but they don't. I noticed right away that they were going to roll. As soon as my legs bend at the knees even a little while walking the tops immediately rolled down and it felt like I had a tourniquet on my leg cutting off circulation. That feeling only felt worse while going up the stairs. Yeah, I'm sending for a refund. Maybe if your calves and thighs are the same circumference these might work but my legs taper from thigh to ankle and the rolling is dangerous for causing blood clots.

Single flaw ruined the product. Maybe a bad batch? My old neoprene brace had started to fray after many years of good service. I read all of these great reviews and decided to pick one of these up. Arrived quickly as usual and slipped it on. I did some work around the house and went to bed with it on like I do with my other braces. I was happy - it was doing its job and doing it well. Next morning had a painful itchy rash anywhere the 'Medical grade non-slip silicone strip' had touched my leg (the redness matches the shape of the strips). Obviously I stopped using it. After 3-4 days, the rash is slowly going away but the itchy pain is still lingering. Outside of the suspect "Medical grade non-slip silicone strip", this would have been a near perfect knee brace. It had support where I needed it and it didn't overheat your leg like the neoprene braces do. But can't wear it if they don't make it properly. Yes - I returned the brace today (excellent Amazon service again) after about 14 hours of use due to adverse reaction to the silicon strips.

CHOOSE ANOTHER BRACE. Strong recommend against this brace, as in DO NOT BUY. I measured my thigh as instructed and purchased the brace accordingly. I’ve worn the brace a few times and the top end keeps rolling down when moving. The roll causes pain as it cuts off the circulation and starts pinching the skin. I now have open cuts on my thigh from this brace and it pinching to the point of braking skin. I will not be using this brace any longer.
