No fiberglass – really! ** Initial review: 4 stars ** (see updates below) I got this mattress in 10" queen in gray. I’ve had many memory-foam mattresses/“bed in a box” kits over the years. What appealed to me about this one was the price and that it’s fiberglass-free. UNPACKING IT Hubby and I opened the mattress at 4:00 pm and closely inspected it — no mold or dirt. Whew. Looked totally clean. I have allergies and am a STICKLER about clean mattresses. Had I seen a smudge of anything remotely suspect, I would have immediately returned it. I was horrified by the stories from other reviewers about finding mold (and then being told by the company that it was “just dirt” — equally unacceptable!), and honestly I was expecting the worst. Fortunately, to my great relief, the mattress was 100% clean. And believe me, I inspected every inch of the thing. As part of my inspection, I checked the stitching all the way around. I saw no open seams or loose threads. The zippers ran smoothly. There was no smell at all once we got it out of the packaging. Memory foam mattresses have a very recognizable odor (if you’ve had one, you know!) and usually off-gas for a few days. This one had a faint odor ONLY during the five minutes we were removing the plastic packaging. (And honestly, a lot of products do that if they’ve been cooped up in plastic wrap for a time.) It went away immediately. FIBERGLASS DOUBLE-CHECK I unzipped the cover a few inches — gingerly at first — to confirm that the mattress is indeed fiberglass-free, as advertised. Thank heavens! The slabs of foam are held together by a knit “sock” that clearly does not contain fiberglass because it is matte and has no shiny bits, nor did it shed any fibers. It appears to be a cotton-poly blend. See my attached photo. This means the cover is washable! (To be clear, I’m talking about the *zippered cover*, not the inner sock.) Although I don’t personally need to wash the cover — because I use an allergen-proof mattress encasement — I can see how at least having the option to wash it could be useful. HEIGHT We set the mattress on the bed frame, and two hours later, it had plumped up to 8". Twenty-four hours later, it had only plumped up to 9", and one of the corners by the footboard was still quite crumpled in appearance. At this point now (a week into it, at the time I’m writing this review), I’m not sure it will ever fully inflate to the stated 10". Not a huge deal, though, as I only ordered this mattress as an emergency stopgap until we can buy a nicer one locally. FIRMNESS Everyone’s perception will be different, but on a scale of 1-10 — where 1=plush (squishmallow) and 10=firm (plank of wood) — this mattress feels to me like an 8. It’s quite firm. I honestly wasn’t expecting this. All of my memory foam mattresses over the years have been a ~5 (fairly cushy), so I assumed this one would be too. Despite my reservations about its firmness, I have slept VERY well on this mattress over the past week. No pain, zero complaints. I don’t normally go for firm mattresses, but I may be a convert now. LOL. FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this is an excellent mattress if you have a smaller budget and want to avoid the dreaded fiberglass sock. Despite its minor drawbacks, for the price, it’s a perfectly acceptable mattress. ** UPDATE, four days later ** The crumpled corner has corrected itself, but the mattress is still only 9" tall. ** UPDATE, two weeks later: Rating increased to 5 stars ** I changed the bed linens today and, for craps & cackles, measured the height of the mattress again. It’s at 10" now. I was shocked that it actually got there. I’m still loving the firmness and have been waking up blessedly pain-free. I’ve increased my rating to five stars. ** UPDATE, three months later, January 2023 ** I am IN LOVE with this mattress. I don’t think I’ll bother buying a different one locally, as this “stopgap” mattress has exceeded all my expectations. I noticed the manufacturer is now, at the time of this update, offering more variations of this mattress than were available when I bought it. There are now “firm” options. Although I can’t say for sure, my best guess is that the mattress I received is the “firm” variety, and they are selling a new, softer mattress slotted into the plain “8/10/12-inch” categories. Why do I think this? Because I cannot imagine how a memory foam mattress could possibly be firmer than mine without either (1) defying the laws of physics, or (2) being a slab of literal stone. If we end up ordering a new mattress for the guest room, you can bet we’ll buy this one again, and I’ll report back and either confirm or refute my theory about the new “firm” variety. In the meantime, may you have restful and pain-free sleep.
Sooooo comfortable. I’ll start right out with the only flaw I came across. Which is the ONLY reason I decided to go with 4 stars. We ordered the 12” Blue Firm Queen. . Set it up 3 days ago and it has maxed out at 10”. I just truly think they sent the wrong one. I’m going to contact the seller to see if they can help me figure out which one we actually received. It’s not a HUGE deal. Because I am certainly not repackaging this monster mattress to ship it back. Now. Onto the good stuff.. no. The AMAZING STUFF !!! This bed is sooo comfortable. Again , we got the 12” blue firm- queen size. We wanted the king size but it just will not fit in our tiny bedroom without removing our night stands. However , I am looking into getting floating shelves for each side of the bed to serve as night stands !! There was absolutely no odor whatsoever when we opened it and set it up. I didn’t even know this brand of mattress existed until we stayed at an Air BNB in Florida a few weeks back when we went there for our sons wedding. We stayed at the most amazing beach house . For four mornings , neither of us had any aches and pains when we awoke and got out of bed. We felt amazing. So I contact the host and she was so kind to help me figure out what brand and where it was purchased. Once I figure out what to do for night stands , we will set this queen size mattress into our guest room & we will purchase the king. We’re both a bit chubby , cuz we like our groceries .. and we need our space in bed. Plus we have 2 cats that think they need to sleep with us and climb all over us each night while we sleep. Soooooo , Boils down to this …. RUN DO NOT WALK and get yourself this mattress !!! It is absolutely amazing. Other than it only being a 10” mattress. And yes , I’ve done the whole unzipping it , heating it up with a hair dryer then spreading our electric blanket out of it for 36 hours and setting it on high. Ohhh. Also. We bought a bamboo mattress topper for it as well because this was also on top of the mattress of the bed we slept on in Florida. I wanted the exact same products because I knew they worked. So , but this bed & you won’t be sad. When purchasing firm’ my mind always goes to a cement slab. But it’s not at all. Because if I slept on a cement slab I would literally probably die. MOBLLY is amazing. If you’re still reading this , I applaud you. Because I would never read a review this long. Peace !!!
Good foam mattress. So we got this for our Seven year old, it made no sense to buy him a twin and he’s already 4’2. He loves his bed and sleeps very comfortable and loves the softness and that it’s not stiff. It came rolled up air sealed and took about three days to puff all the way up we were very pleased with that. I myself at 165 slept on it for two days and as a stomach sleeper it really had me feeling uncomfortable on the wake up and I couldn’t want to get my bed back, I had company at the time. But my mom and his dad said they love it and they felt very comfortable on it as well.
Love it! 10" GIve it TIME to fully expand folks. I recently moved and needed a new mattress. I spent over $3,000 on my old one from Sleepys and was not going that route again. A friend had this mattress (same size: 10" FULL sz). Now I didn't rush to open the box as recommended, this box sat in my new bedroom floor for three weeks, as I finished moving out of my old place. Like many reviews I've read, many were quick to complain that they were missing an inch or two. INITIALLY, I thought the same, since the instructions said about 72 hours for it to reach its full size after unpacking it. Two of my corners looked low at first and then filled in. Mine took about a week and all the corners inflated perfectly, so much that I struggle to put a fitted sheet on. I LOVE this mattress. So firm, yet soft when supporting my back and body. My sleep has never been so deep and serene. My 2nd pic shows my hand for scale (5 inches from palm to middle finger tip!) REMEMBER that we don't know how long the mattresses was stored compressed in storage, so please give IT TIME TO FULLY expand to the correct size. Yes, I measured (will update later with that pic) and I definitely have my 10". Give it about a week to FULLY expand guys!
12 in Memory foam mattress. Very comfortable and affordable mattress. I will say it’s a bit firmer than I expected, but not a deal breaker for me. It is fiber glass free which was a huge selling point. Only problem we had was it didn’t actually expand to 12 inches. It got to about 10 or so. I did contact customer service and they were very helpful and good about resolving the issue. I’ve only had it about a week but I would definitely still recommend, can’t beat the price or value.. Sleeping much more soundly than with the previous mattress.
For the price ... nothing better. At under 500 dollars for a king and out Nectar queen was over 1200, I was extremely skeptical. But figured what could I lose, this was already going to be a "for now" purchase until affording a better mattress. Well here to say this will be the mattress. Not one single issue.. of course you'll have the reviews based on firmness. But this mattress is the In Between . Not to hard not to soft. It is extremely comfortable, no sag , no smell and just plain great mattress for the price. If I had to recommend a king mattress to anyone in any price range ...this would be the one.

Too soft, now I have lower back pain. I had an old mattress that the springs were hitting me in the back. That mattress was all I had since I had to give up my room and bed to my 90 year old mother to live with me. I decided to replace that mattress with this memory foam one due to reviews. I’ve had it only for a couple of months and there is already a pit formed that I fall into at night. Never had lower back pain before and at first I didn’t know why I was having it. After my mom had to go back into Te hospital I slept in my own bed until her return. My back pain was gone in about 4 days. Once I started sleeping on this mattress again, back pain returned. This is not medium firm…at least not when you are sleeping in it. It is soft and doesn’t hold its memory…it holds your body memory,hence the pit I’m Sleeping in now. I’m stuck with this one due to finances. I hope buyers will read my review and understand that paying more for a quality mattress is worth it. I am so disappointed and I’m in pain.
Not 10 inches. I have yet to sleep on this mattress because I am still waiting for it to get to 10 inches. The corners at one end are about 7 to 8 inches, one was so smushed up from the wrapping it never recovered,, and at the other corners 8.5 to 9 inches. Some of the sides are at 8.5 inches. This is after a full week of waiting for expansion. I have purchased 2 other foam mattresses on Amazon and neither had any trouble expanding to the stated size. What it would cost for me to ship it back is ridiculous, which means I spent over $250 for a product that did not perform as described. I an sorely disappointed in the mattress and the company.
YOU KEEP SINKING ALL NIGHT LONG. What I like about this mattress is Amazon's service. Shipping was great. It came in a box and gradually came to full size in about a day. It's nice looking and seems to have a good cover. After purchasing it a year ago, what I DON'T LIKE about this mattress is that you keep sinking all night long which means you wake up in a hole that is difficult to climb out of and makes it a struggle to get out of bed. If you are looking for firm support or for a side sleeper, don't purchase this mattress.
Not 6 inches! Looks nice and easy to move. Took three days to get it a little above five inches. I had to go online and figure out how to even get it to five inches. If you have an iron with steam or a steamer then you can get it to finally start expanding. I'm under the assumption that any mattress you buy online will exaggerate about the thickness because almost all reviews I find online say as such. This is the second time I have tried buying one on line and my other one had the same issue with the thickness. For some odd reason, this one was harder to expand than my first one. Maybe because it was in the warehouse longer or because of the brand.
Good for sleep. It’s great for sleeping if you are a back or side sleeper. It hugs your body just right so your not tossing and turning all night. I definitely hurt less when I wake up in the morning. It sinks down way too much for anything else though. I have trouble getting up from a sitting position because it sinks all the way down, and being intimate is definitely more of a workout. Definitely not a comfortable mattress for just lounging around.
Never reached the 10 inches. I took this "10 inch" mattress out of the box a week ago and placed it on the bed frame. It never got to the full height. Most areas are just below or just above 8 inches. I contacted the seller and they've asked for pictures which I sent. I'm still waiting for a reply. I haven't slept on it so can't comment on that because I was waiting for it to fully expand first. I read all the comments and made sure to have heat in the room because that's supposed to help it expand. It didn't help in this circumstance.
