Pros
Very good price. Came quick, and packaged very well. I've used Makita cordless products before, and I love how long the battery lasts on each charge, and the power you can have with these tools. When it came time to make the jump fully into the cordless world, I knew Makita was the way to go. This is a nice package, and the fact that you get 6 tools( I don't include the flashlight or the blower,,,, they're not tools and the blower is so small I doubt I'll ever use it) makes this a really nice set. I gave it a 4 star only because of the two items that aren't really tools and will get little to no use. That, and a slight upgrade to the 4 amp batteries from the 3 amp would make this package top notch (although the 3 amp certainly have enough power and charge.) A very nice set of tools for the price.

Over all is good but some tools have no strength. Mainly the saw. Most of the tools are good. Batteries have decent life. But the tool that really is a disaster and a waste of money is the saw. Has no strength. Is practically useless. Very dissapointing.
Meh. This is a dated offering, the circular saw model isn't compatible with any of today's current makita lineup. As long as you never desire to get precision cuts out of the Circ, the rest of the set is pretty solid.

However, I am gravely disappointed in the performance of their newest tools. I’ve now been through three reciprocating saws, three drills, and a trim nailer. The latest batch, the drill burnt up on the third day of use, and the reciprocating saw cuts like a dull spoon through granite. This brand isn’t what it used to be. Regrettably, I’ve decided to try a different platform altogether.
