It works fine for my morning routine to grab a cup while getting ready for work. I might take this one to work and buy the larger kettle for home use.

I bought as a gift and although I thought it was easy to utilize, it wasn't so for a person of 95 years to learn a new electric feature, so don't make that assumption if buying for a person with memory challenges. Otherwise, it's a great electric item to have handy for quickly heating hot water for tea & instant coffee.

Good, but... Very good and comfortable kettle, but the lid is opening by itself every time I'm tilting it to pour the water. Had to replace it. So far (two days) the new one works (the lid) all right.
It won't work with small amounts of water. The kettle is pretty and looks expensive, but for it to reach boiling temperature you have to fill it to the minimum line with is half a litter. To some that is not a concern, but I like to be able to heat one cup of water, only. I would return but my husband threw away the packaging.
Dimensions are completely wrong. Warning: do not buy if the container you're going to use it in is shallower than 7.25 inches. The dimensions in this listing are incorrect. The correct dimensions are 7.8 inches long, 6.4 inches wide (not tall, as the pictures here describe), and 7.25 inches tall. I measured my sous vide container twice and made sure this rack would fit. I only have 6 and 3/8" inches of space between the bottom of my container and the lid. The 6.4 inches this product states in its description should have been perfect. Instead, I need to send this back and look elsewhere. I'd normally not leave a review for this, since the listing is just incorrect, but they actually printed the incorrect dimensions on the product packaging as well.
