Pros
Beautiful, not accurate for fit people, but still worth it. Clearly a very beautiful scale, and I find the weight to be accurate. However, the other analysis such as body fat are definitely off. I compared it to the Renpho scale (the green one in the collage) and my weight comes out exactly the same, but the other analysis are far different. The Renpho is known to be way more accurate (though still off), and it links with more apps such as Samsung health, apple health, Fitbit, whereas the Etekcity does not link with Samsung but does with Fitbit and apple health. From my understanding, most scale struggle to accurately determine analysis for very fit people, but do well for less fit people which is the case for this one. I personally will stick to this Etekcity just because it's absolutely beautiful, very attractive and even though the analysis isn't accurate, it does track changes well. I'll update to see how far off it is next time I use a bodpod for the other analysis such as body fat.
Hated this scale when I first got it?? I hated tis scale when I first got it. It weighed nothing like my old one. Well, that's because my old one was wrong. I took this scale with me to my doctors appointment and they weighed identical. You can weigh before and after you empty you bladder and it will show the difference. Very accurate scale. So glad I did not return it.
Great price, app is free and detailed, Easy to use. I like that this scale is digital with an easy-to-read display. It is easy to set up and the app is great to track your progress if you have any weight goals. I weigh once a week and it records my weekly progress. I can add multiple family members in the app, however, it doesn't like accepting members under 18, as I found out when my son (6 and thinks everything is a new toy) wanted to be added to see his "score." All in all, I would recommend this scale for anybody interested in a breakdown of their body mass and other numbers based off of their weight and height.

Ridiculous. Ridiculous that just to get any other data besides the weight you have to create an account. Worse than that you NEED to give your exact location through the smartphone app. Why do they need to harvest everyone's location information from all the users? Not good. I don't like that. The reason I bought it was for all the other data such as body fat percentage, water percent, bone mass etc. So be aware that you are prevented from getting this information without signing up and giving your location.
No. Hi I bought this because it was on sale but I guess sometimes you get what you buy this was my first digital scale so I was excited to use one but it is inconsistent with the weight I will jump on it will stay 145 I get off the scale so it resets a jump back on then it says I gained like 10 pounds so I jump back off it resets itself that I get back on and it’s a different weight so if you have the money please purchase a higher price digital scales because this one is not worth the money because you don’t know exactly how much you weigh
Be careful. If you have a pace maker, this product appears may not be for you. The info on Amazon tells that you can turn off some feature if you are pregnant. When I got the scales, the literature tells you to turn that feature off also if you have a pace maker. The only problem is that if you turn that feature off, it appears that you do not get all those wonderful reports on your body status, making it just a plain weighing scale for your weight...at least, the way I read it. ALSO, every time I tried to download the app on the iPhone, the procedures wanted me to give ALL my credit card information, under the pretext that they wanted to be able to locate me geographically or something. THAT is VERY SUSPICIOUS. Be careful. I tried several times to download the app, but could not get past this section requiring my credit card information.
