Pros
Pros and cons, just be aware. Initially I loved these, but after gaining weight from medication, removing my hormonal implant, and dealing with neuro disease flares, I’ve noticed their downsides. First, I wish the gusset was double-lined. The fabric is thin and breathable which is fine unless you’re someone with heavy discharge, bladder leaks, or who sweats. It makes so smells waft easily which is off-putting. Didn’t need panty liners until these—but liners and pads have a hard time staying in place since the fabric stretches with your body (unlike underwear with a second lining where the adhesive has a stable area). I like that the thick, tighter waistband smooths out my rolls and knocks off about half an inch to an inch on my waist—depending on how bloated I am—without being uncomfortable or leaving marks (and I get marks from clothes easily). Only downside is when I’m hormonally bloated with water (vs gas and food), the waistband folds in on itself. I have to constantly pull it down below my belly button but it just crawls back up and folds again. Curse of having a B shaped belly with fatty hips I suppose. For that, I wish Wirarpa had a style with a waistband that’s super wide and soft, like on yoga leggings or biker shorts. So, I suppose, overall these are nice but if you’re someone with “colorful” cycle phases, neurogenic bladder issues, or whatever other estrogen-fueled issues people 30+ tend to have: be aware of their limitations. I was going to buy another set in a larger size to solve some issues but with the gusset having no lining, I’ll have to pass.
They are pretty good. I bought these a while ago, maybe about six months ago? So this is a very thorough review after using them for a while. I did like them a lot a bought a second pack shortly after I bought my first. The boxers are pretty great and rest assured I am never going to go back to wearing panties ever again. They are comfortable and don't give you a wedgie and the ones that I seem to have received, don't do bad in the washer either. There is no severe pilling or degrading of the fabric, nothing out of the ordinary depletion of the quality of cotton after many washes. However two things that everyone should know. They do not have a panty lining, which makes them feel like a pair of boxers you would wear over your underwear not in place of your underwear. And second, contrary to the description of the product, the boxers do ofter roll up. They don't have any sort of silicone grip on the end of the boxer leg to help it grip onto skin and not roll up. They're good but not perfect and I may not repurchase them for the above mentioned reasons. But they are still worlds better than panties and I'm never wearing anything but boxer briefs again.
Seams. I purchase the longer inseam, approx 5” and 3x after purchasing the 3” 2x previously. I find the 3x is not as tight on my waist as the 2x and I prefer the longer inseam. However, the larger one has seams in the back that run vertically and are not as comfortable as the seamless 3” 2x size. I don’t know if it is because of the larger size or length that these are seemed in the back but they are not a comfortable as seamless to sit on.
You will have underwear lines -- just in a different place! I decided to try these out because I am so sick of underwear lines, especially with my leggings. Wow! I've never appreciated regular underwear more. I can see myself wearing these to sleep in warmer months in place of pajamas, and they will be great under dresses and skirts to help absorb thigh sweat and for additional coverage, but wearing these under pants, especially tight pants like leggings was no fun! It was just a lot of fabric under my pants. And I had underwear lines on my thighs instead of my butt (just a matter of personal preference where you'd like them to be). The waist band is thick and sits high (just below my belly button) --could be desirable or not depending on your comfort preferences and style. I found that running in these was uncomfortable -- the croch part shifted around more than regular underwear. So, if you like boxer briefs, these are probably a great option for you -the fabric is soft and the fit seems good. I am 5'2'', 110 lbs, purchased a medium, which is my usual size in underwear.
Well...it's not easy to get underwear fit right. These didn't work for me - the waist band is too tight. My waist is 25" and I ordered a size small. The rest of the boxer fit correctly, but I didn't like how long the legs were. They are long enough to ride up underneath pants. I was hoping it would fit a little shorter. Unfortunately you never know how underwear will fit until trying them on :/
Comfortable. These are cotton stretchy material that is very comfortable. Fit like a glove & don't ride up. The only flaw is the elastic at top has a tendency to roll a bit, but is still comfortable. Tried briefs 1st & those have a wider comfortable band at the top, but little by little they would start to shrink a bit & started to ride up a bit. Hope these solve this problem. So good so far.

Great underwear if you're not short. I've been on the search for good underwear for working out for awhile. I am on the shorter side, at 5'1.5" and have a longer torso but short legs. Add to that a higher hip to waist ratio and a rounder rear, and you have a recipe that most things just don't fit right. These underwear are no exception. The pros: 1. The fabric is really comfortable. 2. The longer legs mean that it doesn't roll or ride up in the same way as normal underwear so, while less comfortable than I'd like, and even though they still shift around a lot when I move and exercise, (especially during squats and mountain climbers), they are at least usable which is more than I can say for a lot of underwear. 3. They don't roll. This is a big one for me because most higher waistbands roll down on me, which leads to discomfort over the course of the day or at night. I wore these for most of an afternoon and to sleep before exercising and they didn't roll up. Cons: 1. The waist band reaches to the bottom of my ribcage. It's not terribly uncomfortable but it is very annoying. For you short girls no, it does not hit below your belly button like shown, you'll almost be able to wear it as a bra. Dual purpose, so maybe this is a pro? 2. The legs are slightly tight in some places but too loose in others. This is because on someone shorter the cut is all wrong. It's shaped for my hips to be about 2 inches lower than they are, and for the waist band to hit under my belly button, while it actually sits about 2 inches above it. 3. The waist band is just a cinch tighter than the rest of the underwear. This means that I wouldn't want to wear them all day. I'll probably wear these for working out since the way they roll is better than other brands, but as much as I wanted to love them it looks like I'll be continuing to look for something that fits right. My conclusion: If you're on the shorter side you might want to keep looking. If you're average height you'll probably love these. Do pay attention to the size chart as the waist and hip measurements were spot on.
These are some quitters. I'm losing weight. I've already lost about 20 lb. I am a fat woman. I have access skin. I bought these to protect myself from being in pain. It wasn't the fabric that covers your stomach. It wasn't the waistband. It was the bands around your thighs. After two washes they started rolling. Causing more pain than there should be. So now I'm in a hunt for another set of boxer briefs that will help with this situation. I'm sure if you buy them in normal size they will be fine, but not if you're a chub chub.
Good fit, not comfortable. I ordered these to wear with tighter fitting pants. The fit exactly as I wanted them to. Not too snug, not too loose. You can't even see the lines on the legs. Not 100% cotton. Search for 100% cotton lead me to these. However, when arrived label is cotton and spandex. 100% cotton stretches and the blend with spandex causes the legs to roll up. The men’s boxer briefs are more comfortable because the legs don’t roll up
Soft fabric. It's a decent product. I am disappointed that the fabric around my quads creep up when I wear underneath pants. Also the hem line is visible underneath denim or joggers. For these reasons I wear them alone as pajama bottoms.
95% Cotton? I was looking for cotton boy-leg underwear. Something like my husband has, only more "girly." I was a bit worried about 5% spandex. But the way it feels, it seems the % is reversed.
