Nice gift. Got this for my son for Christmas. He grows herbs in it. Does a good job and he gets lots of fresh herbs.
Easy, quiet, beautiful. I've always been a fan of Aerogardens but this one is a cut above. It's so quiet I sometimes have to get close to hear the motor at all. I expected the herbs to be weak and soft (normally wind strengthens the plants outside, indoor herbs can be weak), but they are robust and continually productive. If you take off a few leaves at a time, this will put herbs on the menu for months. The basil is strong, as is the parsley, but the dill grows like a maniac. The unit is very small, easy to bring to the sink for cleaning, and tucks neatly into a countertop corner, bringing light to a dark spot in our kitchen. The only complaint I can come up with is that the motor is difficult to remove when cleaning (and accumulates material beneath it, so it needs removal now and then). Otherwise, this product is a delight.
Nice Appliance. Wife says: "It's very easy, it works well..." The one I bought for my sister had a seed that didn't sprout but was easy to replace. It looks nice on a countertop or bakers tack. I can't speak to the flavor of the herbs though. Update: the flavor of the herbs is good. Once they are established, growth is prolific.

I did receive a second response from AeroGarden to let me know that their products are covered by a one year warranty, including the seeds. SECOND PLANTING on 10/13/2022 Dumped slimy pods today, 11/04/2022 THIRD PLANTING on 11/04/2022 All AeroGarden lettuce - three types This is the last of the seeds I got from AeroGarden and I believe these were included with the Harvest I purchased from AeroGarden. (The seeds I started in the Harvest are growing.) Biggest issue is that you have to wait for at least three weeks to see if anything will sprout and then you just have to cross your fingers. All of the lettuce grew. The secret was to purchase and use distilled water.
Great Gift! My son loves this gift for his high rise city apartment where there is limited sunshine and natural lighting. Easy to grow and perfect gift for the home chef!

Worth the purchase but has issues. I have had this for about 3.5 months or so, I got it at Christmas, it's kept in my bedroom I use the little three pod one to start my seeds and transfer them after a couple weeks, the little red light came on and when I tried to gently tap the button to turn it off the button doesnt work so it's permanently flashing now, so that's fun. Tried unplugging it from wall and doing a complete clean out and but the button doesn't work and the red light won't turn off. Other than that it's very quiet and the light is bright
Must use special cartridges. It’s a great concept, my husband loves it, doesn’t like that he’s limited to the cartridges that are premade. We wants to grow his own creations.
Operation issues. I bought one of these cause I live somewhere that it’s cold most of the year and I wanted some fresh herbs. For the first two weeks it worked great until the light came on to add plant food which I did but the light wouldn’t go off. I unplugged it and emptied it and tried again and had the same issue. I return it cause I thought it was defective. They sent me another one but I had the same issue with the second one. Now it’s sitting on my counter, turned off cause it’s not working. Great in theory but didn’t work for me.
