Pros
A worthy successor to the T6. Tozo is the undisputed king of the value wireless earphone set. Don't believe me? Then believe the over 126,000 reviews they have for their T6 or the over quarter million (yes folks you read that right, over 260,000 for the T10) . And while I love the T6, these are better. Tozo makes a wide variety of headphones that provide fantastic value for money. Their NC series even offers active noise canceling for under $100 bucks. They also offer a wide variety in sound signature. The NC series tend to be warmer and more bass heavy, especially with active noise cancellation turned on. The T10 and T12 also share similar bass heavy profiles. But I've always preferred the T6 for it's fairly balanced sound profile with just a bit of a bass kick, to sound full, but not muddy. These T9's share that same ear pleasing profile. Like the T6, these don't have active noise canceling or "transparency" mode. This results in a more balanced sound signature, than their offerings with ANC. This also makes them significantly less expensive. These fit better than the T6, as the L and R sides of T6 are nearly identical, and are easy to get mixed up. This can't happen with the T9. Also, the touch controls are much less finicky. The carrying case is well constructed, with stronger magnets to keep the earphones in place. Be aware, however, a good shake or jolt with the lid open will cause the earphones to come out. When the lid is shut, this isn't a problem. The case supports wireless charging as well as USB C, so that is a plus over the T6's micro USB port. The pairing is also much easier with the T9, and once paired,connection speed is very quick, with the earphones powering up and connecting before you can fit them in your ear. The T9 comes with 6 pairs of silicone tips, which should be more than sufficient to get a good fit. Call quality was also good. The mics provided nice clear voice aquality, and calls were easy to understand. A CON however, is that Tozo doesn't have an app which allows for firmware upgrades, or custom EQ, so your stuck with what's in the box. Luckily what's in the box works and sounds great. Especially considering their sub 50 dollar price tag. The market is saturated now with sub $100 wireless headphones, so it's unlikely that the T9 will get anywhere near the reviews the T6, but the T9 is better than the T6 in every conceivable way. No, these won't have Apple, Bose, Sony, or Seinheiser, shaking in their boots. But these they sound amazing, especially for the price. And they are perfect as a workout pair, or to take with you when you don't want to risk your more expensive pair. Or, if you don't want to spend a lot, and still want a nice set of earphones, these will work out nicely.
best for making calls. I am a huge fan of Tozo especially their NC9 Plus.I just received the T9 and the music sound quality is only average not nearly as good as the NC9. The noise cancellation works great for calls and the call voice is outstanding. If you are primarily using these for calls then you can't go wrong for the price. They were comfortable and stayed in my ears no problem when exercising. Great battery life and great price. If you are looking for better music fidelity go for the NC9 instead.
Love the T9’s. I have owned several different ear buds over the years. Many of them have been Tozo buds. I ordered these after my favorite NC2 stopped pairing after a year. I had forgotten about the one year extended warranty they offer. I sent them a email explaining my issue and a few days later, I received a new pair free of charge. You cannot beat customer service like that! So now I have two new pairs, T9 and NC2’s. I love that on the NC2’s I can use the noise canceling all the time, whereas, the T9’s cancel feature is just for calls. I wear my buds at work 12 hours a day and both can go weeks without having to charge the case. Quite impressive! My favorite thing about the T9’s is that they seem a little lighter and more comfortable for the long days. I truly love them both and will definitely buy more Tozo products as the technology gets better all the time. Cheap cost, customer service and quality, what more could you want?

It caught fire!!! So I used this for a couple of hours then plugged it up to charge. A couple hours later I smelled smoke!!! I walked in to my bedroom where it was charging and it was on fire!
Misleading product description... these are NOT noise cancelling in the regular use of the term! I hate writing this review. I'm generally a huge fan of Tozo earbuds, to the point where I basically collect them. I have a pair of T6's, NC7's, and A1's... and thought I'd check out Tozo's stem-style T9's while they were on sale. Right off the bat, the reason for the 3-star review is because I believe that the product description is SERIOUSLY misleading when it comes to noise cancellation. These buds do not have ANC in the regular sense that you hear that term used. They won't actively block out background noise while you're listening to music, or just wearing them around. The "noise cancellation" references in the description are ONLY about making your own voice more clear when you're on phone calls. That's it. And really, I don't think it does much of job even with that. There are some nice things to say about these buds. As far as stem-style earbuds go, these fit me more comfortably than my AirPod Pros do, and the audio quality is barely a downgrade. Touch controls are smooth, and the Bluetooth performance is reliable. If you DON'T care about active noise cancellation, and you prefer stem-style earbuds, then these might be a great choice for you. I just think that the misleading product description is egregious, and it really bothered me. This is the only Tozo product I've ever returned, and if it had just been clear up-front about what I was buying, then I probably still would have bought and kept them even with the lack of active noise cancellation.
I enjoy Tozo, but something is wrong here. I own several Tozo earbuds, the T6, NC2, T10, T12. I like them so much that when I saw this new model, I ordered them right away. I enjoyed them very much, then the right earbud started going out. I usually only wear the right one on all my earbuds. I thought it was my ear, but slowly the volume was lower and lower, then it stopped. My wife has the exact same pair, and a few days after I had the issue, so did she. I don't have this issue on any of the other models, and on the T6, I've had water all over them, and they work without any issues. Even though they have an IP rating, I never had the T9's in water or splashed, and they went out. I had to return them, but Tozo overall is my favorite brand, so my hope is that this was an anomaly.
