Pros & Cons

Pros

Perfect for next big step. This was a cool option for potty the next step in potty training, baby is very excited with climbing the little ladders, she is loving the colors, is very sturdy enough to hold my little one and is very easy for her to go up and down. Fits perfectly our toilet and was easy and fast to assemble.

Yes Yes Yes! My son is potty chair trained for 2 years, but he is very afraid of the toilet. He has no problem peeing when standing. Poops only into the potty chair and doesn't accept classic small seat reduction. We buy this ladder seat, son was helping with assembly, and (!!!) he said it is super and using it. So, if your child has a problem converting from a potty chair to a toilet seat, buy this one!

Grandson approved ! I love this ! I purchased for my grandson and he absolutely loves it . He moves it and sets it on potty when he needs to go and it prevents the whole little butt falling into the toilet when they don’t fit the seat . I was going to buy a stool and seat separate but then got to thinking of all the other ways that child would use the stool and the stuff he would get into . This prevents all that ! It’s there when he needs it but he can’t use it to climb on anything else .

Training assistance. I love that it helps foster independence. I wanted to transition my son to the big pot. He is so small and could not comfortably sit for #2 trying to hold himself up n . This is great he can walk the stairs n just relax.

Not a scary potty seat. My granddaughter would NOT sit on one of those potty seats you can place and remove as they moved when she tried to sit down. This one is great. She climbs up, with a little help as she is 2, and she sits like her sisters. The seat is also removable for easy cleaning. Highly recommended.

Must buy! Super easy to put together. My son can climb and get on the potty by himself easily. It's Sturdy and I am not afraid of it breaking

Cons

Not sturdy for our toilet. The media could not be loaded. This potty training seat is a awesome concept but did not work with the height of our stool even on lowest setting. When our toddler stepped on top step the whole thing falls forward. Easy to assemble though.

Not Sturdy and steps are on the weaker side. This was easy to assemble but it is not sturdy. It does not fit right on both of our toilets. Both of our toilets are different sizes too. The step is flimsy and my child has to do the balancing act sometimes if she steps wrong, preventing the whole thing from falling. This is our 2nd potty step seat. The 1st one is similar but a lot more study and solid, no issue with the 1st one but got this because of the price and figured itll be the same. NOPE..you get what you pay for. Maybe it is just us but I don't like it. It doesnt lock in securely too when it's set up to use on the toilet, but It folds up very nicely tho, better than our 1st one.

Not the best for boys. If you have a boy and they pee sitting down..this probably isn’t the best option. The way it’s designed, it makes my son sit in a slightly reclined position, so his legs are higher than his butt and his Pelvis is tilted upwards. Soooo where does pee go?..straight up into the air, not down into the toilet. It’s very uncomfortable for him to try to sit forward in it more. Idk maybe my kid just has a big ol booty, but this seat does not work for him.

Not sturdy, assembly required. Is not sturdy for our toilet. Supposed to be helpful so my toddler can use the bathroom by himself but I end up having to help him anyway. It acts like it’s going to fold forward and collapse. Folding feature is nice, but design obviously doesn’t work.

Nice little seat. Had to make two major adjustments, other than that I like it for my kid. Comes with sticky velcro stickers need them a little longer.

A little rickety. Liked the idea of not having to clean out a potty after every use, so we upgraded to this for our three year old. It is not super stable and the small size of the stairs makes it a little difficult for her to turn around and get seated. There was definitely a learning curve. Ultimately we are still using the product but wish is was designed a tad better.
