Pros & Cons
Super absorbent but Shrink a lot! These muslin burp cloths are my favorite so far. They absorb spit up and liquids wonderfully, they are super soft, and I love that their is no stiffness at all. My only drawback is that they shrink a lot! I really love the size that they come in, but once you wash them, they aren’t large anymore. I feel like spit up gets on me more now. These are still my favorite though because of the absorbency. (With my first child, I used the cloth diaper inserts at burp cloths, and at the time those were my favorite, but I like these better for the softness. Cloth diapers are definitely more stiff.) I have purchased 8 packs of these muslin burp cloths because I use several each day.
Soft and absorbent. These burp rags checked off all the boxes. I no longer have a need to look for better burp cloths! They are 1) long enough to stay on and cover your shoulder 2) soft enough for baby’s face 3) absorbent 4) well made 5) less expensive than some name brand burp cloths. I will definitely buy again.
Exactly What I Was Looking For! These burp cloths are Super soft & the perfect size. I love how absorbent they are. I washed them as soon as I received them on cold and dried on delicate. They did not shrink at all! Love this product & would highly recommend!
Very Soft and well made! I bought these for a baby shower gift and they were perfect. We didn't use them to test the absorbency, but they came wrapped in a bow with an explanation of how they are made and what they contain. They are perfect!
Supersoft and absorbing! We have a new adorable "baby" .... a Yorky puppy!! He has extremely sensitive paws, and even after very short walks in the rain, he would "cry" because the wet skin is bothering him. When I tried to dry off his wet paws with a soft towel, he was crying even more... because the fabric seemed to hurt his skin. A friend recommended I use a Muslin Burp Cloth instead ... and our problem is solved !!! My advice to everybody out there: It doesn't matter if you are caring for your 2- or 4-legged "baby"... Muslin Burp Cloths are still the best and softest for sensitive skin...!!
The best for dealing with reflux mess. If you can be in love with a burp cloth I’m in love with these. My little one has really bad reflux and so we go through A LOT of burp clothes every day. Over the last few months I’ve purchased a lot of burp clothes in an attempt to cut down on the frequency of laundry. These are hands down my favorite burp clothes. The cotton muslin material is lightweight, soft and very absorbent. They are a good size to really cover your should and protect from mess without being too big and awkward. They wash and dry well. They did shrink a little but I still find them to be a good size. All in all I love these! These are the only burp clothes I will be buying from here on out and I definitely recommend them. For comparison sake I have also tried: Burts Bees burp clothes: they are soft and cute, but a little small and not incredibly absorbent. These are my least favorite of all I have tried. Aden and anais burp clothes: super cute and high quality, a nice shape to fit on your arm. They are bulky in the diaper bag and they are really expensive. If you go through as many burp clothes in a day as I do these aren’t cost effective Little unicorn burp clothes: I have the same thoughts of these as the Aden and anais... they are cute and function well, but they are bulky in the diaper bag and very expensive Plain flour sack towel: these are decent to use as burp clothes. A pack is inexpensive, they aren’t too bulky, yet they provide a lot of protection for your arm. They aren’t super soft and they aren’t as absorbent as I’d like. A huge burp up definitely can leak through. Cloth diapers: these are also good to use as burp clothes. They are inexpensive, soft and do a good job absorbing mess. These would be my second favorite burp cloth. I hope this helps other mamas out there dealing with the mess of reflux.
Doesn't make the cut! These burp cloths are not everything I hoped they would be. The cloth is durable and yet they are soft (not fluffy like cloth diapers but soft). They cover the perfect amount of mommy's shoulder for burping baby and they do absorb well however, they release everything they absorb (they become a damp/wet mess after one small baby burp/spit up) making it useless after one baby burp. This is not conducive to a mother trying to conquer the world, or at least the day without going through 10 different burp clothes. I really wanted to like these but unfortunately they just didn't cut it. Your money is better spent on Gerber pre folded 6 layer disposable diapers for use as burp cloths. They are my faithful and most trusted burp cloths. They go with any outfit, keep both mommy and baby spit up free without halting the day to dig a clean burp cloth out of the bottomless pit of a diaper bag after a single grade C (minor scale) spit up episode; which is exactly what it will be with these Muslin burp cloths. I am disappointed, I had high Hope's for these burp cloths
I wanted to love them. I was so excited to get these and so wanted to love them. When they initially arrived they were nice and big and thick. (My little one is teething and drooling all over the place but also spits up a bit.) So I washed them out of the package and dried them. They shrunk exponentially and the more I used them the more I realized how they lack absorbency. They work for a run of the mill burp cloth, but I’d you’re looking to true absorbency these aren’t them. I have flannel ones that are far more sturdy. Really wanted to love them!
Good burp cloths. Not great, but good. I loved the size when they arrived. They seemed nice and big to cover my shoulder well. But after washing they shrank considerably! I’m talking losing several inches length and probably half an inch in width. It was pretty disappointing. But they’re still good, mostly absorbent burp cloths. I wish they were softer but that may come in time the more I wash them. I just needed more on hand as our 3 month old is drooling and spitting up frequently these days and we tend to go through 3-4 cloths per day. I got a lightning deal on this pack so I will say value for money was good, but if I had paid full price for them I would have been really upset.
Bring back the exact same ones you are sold months ago. I am so disappointed. I bought these about three months ago the quality was so much better. They were thicker they were weaving better and tighter. So I re-ordered exact same ones the tag is the same but the quality is horrible compared to the ones I got a few months ago. So disappointed because I really like the ones I got a few months ago from the exact same maker. 100% cotton made in China the whole 9 yards everything is the same but these I am so disappointed. I know this as I’ve created some of the best clothes lines
Low quality. I gave these a shot since they are inexpensive, but they are low quality compared to many other brands. They don’t hold their shape well after washing and are flimsy and thin. I don’t imagine they will hold up. The cot care brand on Amazon isn’t much more expensive and is much higher quality, so I will stick to them. It’s not worth shipping these back for the price, so I will use them to clean up spills and throw them out as they inevitably fall apart. If you plan to use them as burp cloths, I recommend getting another brand. They don’t seem like they will absorb much and will likely lead to a mess if you try to use them as burp cloths.
They're alright. The burp cloths are fairly soft, before you wash them a few times. They do absorb liquids okay, however they are super thin so they do not absorb very much in one area. I have to fold the cloth in fourths when using it to avoid getting soaked by regular spit up from my baby, let alone when he has big spit ups. Even folded in fourths the liquid leaks through at times. I am disappointed in this. However the cloths still work for the most part.
