Pros
Great training cup for baby. I’ve bought this item twice, once as a gift for my niece and once for my son. The cup isn’t leak proof but my baby has been learning how to use it pretty quickly. It’s sturdy enough for him to grab and drop without the lid popping off. Some water spills through the straw hole when he tips it over but nothing crazy. He loves being independent so this cup is perfect for giving him water and a little freedom at dinner time.
So far so good. Trying to get my daughter to drink from a straw, rather than a sippy cup. Progress is slow. She really likes chewing the straw though lol. It doesn’t leak, unless she completely puts it upside down and water comes out of the straw (so far I’m not filling it up either, only putting a small amount of water). I like the weighted bottom that helps keep it upright. And it’s easy to clean. Will update as we go, but so far there’s a lot of user error involved ;-)
Good cup. Very sturdy and easy to clean. It is hard to tell if my baby is actually getting any liquid though and if you tilt it for them, it leaks out of the hole for the straw. Other straw cup brands have a way for you to help baby get the liquid by squeezing the cup or pushing a button but this doesn’t have that, which would make it better.
Spills. Love the bright color and overall product. Definitely disappointed that it does still leak entirely when knocked over. My son is learning to use a straw and when it fell over in his high chair tray (lid and straw on) leaked the entire cup empty. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for something spill proof.
12 month Old favorite cup. Overall, my twelve month old loves this cup, he will dig it out of the drawer to ask for water! My only complaint is that he knows how to open the lid and dump out the water to play with. However, he could do that with other cups we have too. Overall, I would recommend this cup because it is easy for him to hold and learn how to drink out of an open cup or a straw!
Excellent for my 8 month old. My baby is 20th percentile in size so he struggled with the size of some of the other cups. I was skeptical if he would use the straw but gave it a go. I guess it’s just kinda like a bottle nipple as I tried it at 3 feedings and the 3rd one he suddenly got it. He can now get his own water and is very pleased with himself. He loves playing with the straw too.
Cons
Good cup but leaks. I love the ezpz brand overall and this cup is great in many ways but it isn't perfect. It's a good size for my 12month old to hold independently and she loves drinking from it. I also like that it will convert into an open cup once she's ready for it. That said, my daughter is also a baby, so she often drops or tilts her cup. It leaks every single time. It's not a huge deal but you'd expect a baby cup to be designed to be somewhat leakproof. Especially since this isn't the cheaper straw cup on the market.
Moldy Straw. Really liked this cup, except that our straw got super moldy. We always let it air dry but after about 9 months I noticed the inside of the straw had black mold growing. Will use the cup without the straw, but be aware and be diligent to check that it isn’t molding.
Pricey but like it. I skipped bottles and sippy cups and use this instead. My little one uses it almost everyday. The only down side is the price, pretty pricey for a cup. A friend of mine really liked it so I just bought a second one for her daughter. The box arrived dirty and damaged, I contacted Amazon for assistance and they would not send me a new one. I was very disappointed on the second purchase as it was a gift and needed it by a certain day.
Expensive and will leak. I like this because my baby can use it. He can drink form the straw. He can’t hold it on his own though so it ends up tipped on the side and leaks. And for 18 bucks I’d expect better.
Leaks so easily. Saw a video that these were great to start introducing your babies to cups/straws but they leak so my babies are soaked every time they use them. If you are introducing your child to cups I wouldn’t recommend these, find one that is leak proof
Ezpz cup with straw. I love all EZPZ products however this cup with the straw leaks significantly and that is my only complaint!
