Pros

For the money you can't go wrong! Used to have DirecTV for a couple of years. Their prices in my opinion are too high and I knew I could do better. I also own Fire sticks from Amazon with the Kofi program that I installed and I'm very satisfied with them. The only thing lacking was local stations but I was ok till I read about this antenna. I ordered it thinking the worst about it and was I ever surprised! I get 36 digital channels from it and I live 60 miles away from the broadcasting tower. This antenna is delicate only because it's aluminum and easy to bend if your not careful. Handle it carefully and your not going to have any problems. I mounted it on the DirecTV post which is mounted on the side of my fireplace chimney. All I had to do was take off the dish from the post and disconnect the cable. Reconnect the cable after attaching the antenna to the post and I was ready. Easy enough to do but your safety should come first. Plugged in the power supply unit that came with the antenna after I was inside the house and things were ready to function. I let the TV tuner find the channels and started going thru all my free channels after it finished. If you get a fuzzy picture or black squares on any channel, just turn the antenna on the post after loosening the bracket and retighten after the picture clears up and your in business. I should have done this years ago. Reminds me of the old days when antennas were the only way to receive television channels. Not all channels are HD but all of them have a great picture.

Was genuinely surprised with results. I was very skeptical if this would even work I have a hunting cabin in the middle of the woods. The nearest city is Binghamton which is 40 miles away. The price was good, free shipping so I decided to give it a shot. Very easy to assemble and set up. I just used a short scrap piece of 3/4 pipe, a plumbing flange and mounted it on the deck rail. After doing a channel search on the tv we could not believe we actually had reception!!! And we had several local stations. We couldn't be happier. The rotator assembly makes fine tuning possible. Well worth every cent!

Great product,even better support! Did not think it would work since it feels light and not well made, but I was wrong. My 65 mile antenna that cost more picked up zero channels at my new location. I bought this set up and immediately picked up 50 channels without being on a pole of outside. I am shocked it works so well. I have already recommended it to a co-worker! Even when mounted a modest height the antenna provides good reception of OTA channels. Most of the interference we had experienced before has vanished. It appears that even when the antenna has been pointed in the optimal direction there is still a need to keep the unit plugged in. (There must be an amplifier as well as the antenna direction controller embedded in the unit.) We noticed that when the signal was optimal, the quality was reduced if we turned the unit off. We are hoping that the electronics will have a long life. I now receive all my locals with no issues, without even having to rotate the antenna. On top of that, I have never experienced such great product support. I would 100% recommend this brand antenna to anyone without hesitation.

Works perfectly. If you are looking for the best HDTV Outdoor Antenna, then look no further. Everything needed for the install is included for one low price. The installation and assembly are easy and straightforward. I was able to mount the antenna on my roof in under 10 minutes. The entire process from unboxing to watching crystal clear HD channels for free was less than 30 minutes. Another great feature of this antenna is its ability to supply a signal to two televisions without the need for a splitter. That really comes in handy and makes the installation cleaner and easier. The range specifications state that it has a 150-mile range and I can attest to it being able to receive stations 70 miles away effortlessly. The antenna was cheap enough that perhaps a spare should be purchased in case of wind/hail damage. The control box/remote will rotate the antenna, but there's no way to tell which way its pointed without going outside to look at it. Perhaps more expensive kits have more user-friendly and useful control boxes. Because rotating is cumbersome, I'll probably use this one as a fixed antenna get another fixed position antenna to point in another direction to get a couple of local PBS stations, and then join them both just before the splitter. In my opinion, you cannot find a better antenna, even if you do spend more. I highly recommend this HDTV Amplified Outdoor Antenna to anyone looking to cut the cord without sacrificing your entertainment.

Best Antenna I have tried. I bought this antenna thinking I would use it as a secondary antenna, adding it to the primary attic mounted antenna via a splitter. However, after hooking this up in the attic and running a channel search, it way outperformed any antenna I had used. I never did connect it in a way that both antennas were pulling in signals. I didn't need to. I pulled in 66 clear channels, way more than I had ever pulled in before. Personally, I think the automatic rotator is somewhat flimsy and cheap (who knows, it might work in the long haul), but once I had the antenna pointed where I was pulling in the most channels, I found that I was pulling in more channels than I should have been (according to antenna signal websites). I was pulling in clear channels from San Antonio, TX which is 100 miles away, Waco at 75 miles away, and Austin at 50 miles away. Once I had the antenna direction set for the best reception, I doubt I will use the electronic automatic antenna rotator (which was nice for getting the antenna in the perfect position). For $29 bucks, I don't see how you could go wrong.

Works great, but you must read the instructions. The setup and instructions were slightly confusing which caused it not to work at first. The assembly was easy, just follow the instructions. The confusing part was the cabling. The there are two standard female TV coax connections on the back of the control box and a 30 inch wire with a Male connection. The male connector on the wire goes to the second TV while you must read the raised lettering on the body of the control box to discover which of the two female connectors goes to the antenna. If you pick the wrong one it will not work. There is no cable to connect the first TV. I installed it with the supplied cable (about 25 feet I did not measure) between the antenna and the control unit. Next I connected the TV 2 cable to the back off the TV. While the rotation is a little funky. it works well. I live about 50 miles from Atlanta and I can receive 17 channels clearly. I rotate toward Chattanooga and receive another set of stations clearly from 40 miles away. The biggest drawback is the lack of direction indication on the control box. You have to go out side and look to see where it is pointed, but for the price it is hard to beat.

Cons

What a piece of junk. 1. It pulls in signals less than 30 miles away, not 150 as advertised. Mounted 30 feet on roof. 2. After mounting, it rained. the power light on the antenna went out. Meaning no directional control. It worked before that. Had to go on roof to turn it. Replaced coax with better grade, no help. 3. Picture quality on HD channels is not as good as old antenna.

Meh, not what I hoped. Bought this to replace a very similarly built one that lasted just over a year. While this one is very similar in style and construction, it is not the same, and does not get as good reception as the one I previously had. I'm fairly rural, about 60 miles from towers, antenna is 30' off the ground, with a pretty fair line of sight. After dark it works about half the time, nothing at all during the day. Weather conditions play a huge role as well. As with both of these style antennas, the rotor is functional, but there's no way to tell which way the antenna is turning unless you can see it. So that makes tuning it by yourself somewhat frustrating. If you're close to your market, then this antenna would likely work as well as many others out there do, but it's long range capabilities are severely overstated. I've given it every opportunity to work as it should, it just refuses to do so. The previous one I had suffered many of the same issues as this one, but it did seem to work a little better in general than this one does. I guess I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy a big Channel Master so I can be done with it. Half measures are over, time to get some serious equipment.

Good reception - no mounting pole. I like the added reception the antenna provides. Channels are clearer and more are available thanks to the antenna. I was disappointed to find that it had no mounting pole, which was not made clear in the listing. Antenna is shown mounted to a pole in the photo, with no disclaimer that the pole is not included.

Paid for reviews? I bought this based on the 4+ star reviews. The shipping was fast. Here is the Bad..... 1st it is mostly plastic antenna. 2nd the 5 loops are mounted to the antenna with plastic fittings {how could this improve reception?} and some of the holes for the screws are not drilled through the plastic. 3rd My TV stations are received from a tower about 65 miles or less as the crow fly, but I could only get a few stations with this antenna. {another antenna selling on Amazon for about $150.00 was able to receive 28 channels, which is all available channels except for 3-6}. When I received the antenna I found a card inside that stated I would be given a refund of $15.00 or an extra antenna for a positive review! Is this the reason for all the positive reviews? I would NOT buy this antenna again, nor any like it, I would not recommend it, it's not worth the hassle. I did send it back for a refund {thanks Amazon prime}. Don't pay for reviews, make Amazon a good to buy from site!

Was okay. This was okay but it would have a hard time pulling in stations 150 miles away. Just not that good. It pulled in local stations that were within half that distance but like other antennas location is key. Placement can be very very finicky just a few feet here or there has a huge impact on it. You must have a lot of patience with OTA antennas to optimize their performance. Try several locations as well as pointing in the right direction. There are apps to assist with this. In a nutshell it comes down to your location as to how any antenna performs for you. I returned this after a few days and plan to buy a more expensive antenna. In this game it’s the old saying you get what you pay for.

TV antenna. I live 40 miles from San Francisco and this antenna doesn't do the job. I replaced it with a yagi and receive 65 channels without a rotor. There is not indication of antenna position when rotating this antenna so it's like driving with your eyes closed. The plastic parts are fragile. While removing the antenna, I broke off an element before trashing it.
